I was randomly handed this info, but Blinking Spirit and Sanctum Guardian are cards I know are in 9th, but I wasn't allowed to leak that yet until I had it from another source (sorry). Therefore, I'm inclined to believe the list.
The numbers next to the cards are of course the card numbers.
Talk about the dream list, huh? Is there a crap card there at all? Okay, fine, Sacred Nectar. But wow, what a set this could be! And protection is back in? Paladin en Vec... whoa.
I'll get blue soon and probably the rest in the next little while. I'll post as soon as I get them!

SWEET!!!!! Hot stuff. I'm excited to start getting some 'newer' things in, and not so much confirmation on past rumors and specualtion [although that's ALWAYS appreciated greatly:tongue2: ]

WOW! Thanks for Getting us this... And So Many at once too....
That's a great pick of card for White. I Like what they have execptRighteousness and [/card]Kami of Old Stone[/card]. Other a great list of picks by Wizards.
I think 9th ed. going to give what WW and other White-based deck need.

hmm I was sure that they would reprint the full cycle of COPs, but I guess I was wrong....Gift of Estates calls out to me to try and find a way to break it waybe WG something.... all in all not too shabby! Thx for the info.
i played in a tournament on fridcay. i played affintiy to a sedond place finish. vial lis broken i wonws many games son th3e poever oif it.
Unless i am mistaken Oxidize, V Shaman and E Witness are showing up in just as many decks and warping the metagame as much as Affinity. They should just ban all of Mirrodin block. Onslaught was always the best block ever. I had a U/W Cleric wizard deck that couldnt be beat.
Whoa... Gift of Estates and Weathered Wayfarer plus some solid beaters in Veteran Cavalier and Leonin Skyhunter PLUS Wrath, Soul Warden, and Lions. This doesnt even add Blinking Spirit and others. Dang this looking good.... I'm lookin forward to see black and red.
23 commons, 17 uncommons, and 17 rares. 18 cards seen from 8th Edition. Not bad, though this means white's actually getting quality over quantity for the rares.

Anyways, after looking at the list, here's my opinion on some things:
Only two CoPs? At least they kept Story Circle.
Marble Titan sucks. It keeps itself from untapping.
Tempest of Light: Tranquility is now white? and an instant? Okay.
Foot Soldiers? Forget it.
Serra's Blessing is back? It's good.
Paladin en-Vec: A creature with protection from a colour? WTF?
Sanctum Guardian: Could've picked a better one.
Zealous Inquisitor: Not bad.
Gift of Estates and Weathered Wayfarer: Wow! I guess white will be number 2 when it comes to mana acceleration.
And the rest is not bad, except for Sacred Nectar. That could have been removed.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
wow, thanks for the info, i guess WW will always be there. so many good cards for WW.
The creatures are definately there, but I still have my doubts whether WW can force its way into competitive circles. The main reason is disruption, white doesn't really have much. 9th gives us Chastize, but I don't think that's going to cut it. White Weenie has been on the cusp of T2 playability for some time now, all it'll take is just one card to push it.
Armageddon would've helped, but sadly we aren't getting it right now. Perhaps sometime down the road we will.
Protection is back, that is unexpected... do we have any idea what the reminder text will be for that, R_E? It IS a really complex ability for a core set.
This is looking really good. Definitely looking forward to seeing the other colors. Step up from 8th, for sure. Maybe this set will be *gasp* fun in limited?
Wow, no more COP crap, they only made the enemy colored ones now, that alone is great news (the red COP is almost always the only one used). The list acutally looks good, they really did push the base set up a notch, skyhunters I see.
Was I the only one who breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when Wrath was at the end of that list? With all the other good stuff, I was worried they might have pulled it as has been speculated. [Dean]Yeeeeha![/Dean]
Er Protection was on white knight and black knight in core set when I learned to play many moons ago , I'm sure they will cope.
Wow wrath makes it into set , I'm impressed.
That was back before the base sets were "Advanced" level--6th onward they've simplified to make it an easy entry-level set. Same reason Trample wasn't around so long, but that's a simple concept; Protection is a lot more complex, with some very counterintuitive interactions with other things (ESPECIALLY trample).
Note: 8th edition had 60 white cards (Including Eager Cadet and whatever else is in the S series... is that the only white one in 8th?) Less cards in white = less colored cards = more artifacts and/or lands. *nod*
Edit: Vengence was in 8th too, so that's 58 non-S series in 8th, 57 in 9th, so that should mean 5 more artifacts/lands.
Thanks Elf and thanks to your source as well. It's much appreciated.
On to the list:
WOW! I can't believe this! Coming off of 7th and 8th, has WotC finally got the message that crappy cards don't sell sets??
If the other colors hold up to this list, this is going to be an incredilbly fun set to draft. I want to draft it now!
Gifts of Estates is going to be the new Tithe. While not as good as the original (what is?), I can see it being useful in a "hand-size matters" deck when Mirrodin rotates out of Standard.
Serra's Blessing is just a great card. Attack and being able to block is fun. I love the original artwork by Guay, and hope they keep it so I can have one foil. Too bad for the card that Masako, the Humorless is just more useful.
Righteousness! C'mon, is there a better multi-player combat trick? Nothing like screwing over a Shivan Dragon blocked by a Suntail Hawk.
The Circles make perfect sense to me. Why would White need protection from itself and its so-called friendly colors? The possible interactions with 8.5 tails and CoP: White are over before they could get started.
Karma? Nowhere to be found. I wonder if the color-hosing is over.....at least Black can rest easier (YAY! - Um, no preference here, I swear....um, look over there!)
Looking good...keep 'em coming!

Paladin en-Vec rocks, I hope it gets some wicked new art, too.
Ballista Squad will own in limited, as will Zealous Inquisitor.
Interesting that white got both Weathered Wayfarer and Gift of Estates .... Wizards sure is propping white up as the second best land-searcher. Cool.
Amazing. Thanks again, RE, and of course you, too, Source.

I have a question though? Why only the two COPs and not all five? Is it just because black and red are the anti-white ones?
Seems more like a crappy Tithe to me.

I've heard from a few different people about the possiblity of Cataclysm comig back, but, welll... =(
Now, i am curious to see the wording on Blinking Spirit, and, frankly, if it will not confuse beginners, as I think it is a very confusing card.
Jus have to wait and see.
What about the other colors? Do you have them in hands, or are you expecting to get them soon?
