The main goal is to combine the best of breed functionalities (of the other deckbuilder sites), easy tracking of games and be mobile friendly. And to have everything ready at the end of October.
The paid accounts are unfortunately necessary to cover the hosting costs, feel free to make suggestions on that part too. Drop me a note if you want to test all the features, i'll upgrade your account asap (don't forget tell me which account you are using..)
Couple of bits of feedback, just from the few minutes I've played with it
I love your look and feel - very clean, minimal clutter Auto-complete on the cards in the "Add cards" form is very nice, but it'd be cool to have a way to browse cards as well - you sort of need to already be familiar with the cards in a set to use it at the moment, to get started, which could be a stumbling block for new players. Also, some filters for colour, rarity, type, etc, would help speed up your search widget by reducing the amount of work your query engine has to do
The charts page looks great!
A few tooltips here and there would help - I'm guessing the second number in the quantity indicator is the number you have in your collection (showing that I have 4/0 Zendikar Incarnates in my deck, for example), but that's only from an educated guess. Also, it took me a second to figure out that I had to click the "Add Cards" link to add cards - I thought I was already in that view.
You may want to check with Wizards legal about using their card images and mana symbols before activating payment - use of card images and mana symbols is already a pretty grey area, and they generally only allow it for educational use (which a deck builder could arguably be considered as - at least that's my hope :P). When you start charging, though, all that goes out the window.
All that aside, it's looking good

Minouris's Library - Collection manager and deck builder. It's nifty - Check it out!
Thanks for the feedback! I have upgraded your account.. now you will have more features.
Card Browser:
Yes... this is one I am thinking about a lot. In a native app I can easily add this feature but I want DeckBattle to be a site first. From a usability point I need to find the right way to go without creating neccesary 'in between' pages. Its definitely on the todo list.
Qty:
its standard / foil but i'm making changes to get these in seperate columns. Although an indicator how much in the collection is a good idea.
Add Cards:
By default its collapsed. It does save the setting at each deck so when you are finished you can close it and it stays closed. But it should be default open.. I fix it.
Legal issues:
Yeah I know..its a dangerous path ... the fee is as low as I can go and I have put all the 'legal stuff' in the free account also. So you are only paying for functionality instead of access to card data. The symbols should be no problem as far as I know (except the tap symbol?!)
currenlty working on some extra import options (.txt / csv) so if anybody has some nice example files....
So starting out, and building a deck I find it a bit more tedious (where it resets the fields once you add X copies of a card), but it's fine. Also it auto sorts backwards (alphabetically it goes z-a, rather than a-, same with other sorting options).
I haven't got to battle yet (still tossing 2 decks on here first and I'll gladly give you some test files if you need. Edit: Not sure yet if online battling is doable? But still looks nice, would love to be able to do a draft vs Ai (asking alot though likely bahaha) but I digress. Very nice/simple/Smooth to set up and go, seems to have little to no issues with creating tournaments/such (will likely need to test further about the tourn feature)
Also I'll happily test other features/such for you (I use TheUndeadDwarf for alot of things, so I should be easy to find)
Thanks for the feedback. I have upgraded your account. If you have some example files which should be added to the import function please send them to info@deckbattle.com.
Draft generator is on the list but has a low priority since it isnt the main feature of the site.

DeckBattle has two main features:
1) build a deck
2) Track your games with a specific deck
why.. because I wanted to know more about my play and my decks.
