1v1 in EDH with no restriction (aka didn't say "fun," "no infinite," "casual," and etc), I just pulled out Maelstrom Wanderer and this guy just kicked me out and ignored me... Even before started my dice roll. He could've just tell me to switch decks.
It was me (piloting Phelddagrif), Memnarch and two other people (which don't matter). I keep a hand because it was a few lands, a farseek, Arcane Denial. Memnarch player goes first and goes Island, Sol Ring, Mana Vault. That's a red flag right there that I feel like quitting. Over the next few turns, he ends up getting both Nev's Disk and Mycosynth Lattice out. So, I'm thinking to myself, alright, this guy is about to drop forge and just blow up everything.
He does (this is turn 4 or 5), and I Arcane Denial it.
[You have been kicked from the game]
One of the other guys in the room messages me and asks what happened. Apparently, the Memnarch player had told the other two that I had quit on my own accord.
I think I've played that same guy. I had a Vedalken Orrery out while playing Lyzolda and he dropped Mycosynth, and it had become evident earlier that he had no interest in a 'fun' game...so I just flashed in an overloaded Vandalblast.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Game labeled "competitive edh". Guy is playing Jin-Gitaxias, and starts dropping all kinds of mana rocks right away, I'm sitting there with my 5c control deck thinking I'm about to get crushed. He then plays Power Artifact on his Mana Vault and announces that he's casting Blue Sun's Zenith "for x=9999". I explained to him very politely that PA/Vault don't make infinite mana and then he says:
gtfo noob learns the rules
You have been kicked from the game.
Another game labeled "competitive edh". This time I'm playing Jin, and I manage to stick him at some point late in the game. The guy ends his next turn and I say "discard your hand please" and explain to him that Jin's ability makes his max hand size 0 and that he had to discard his cards. I don't know if it's that complicated an ability, but he just didn't seem to get it, and kicked me pretty soon after. He didn't have Tower or any hand size changing stuff in play anyway.
So please, if you're gonna name your game "competitive" please have at least a basic knowlegde of the rules.

If a player lose, it's understandably that they would kicked someone out and banned them... turns out, even if he wins, he kicked someone out and put them in the ignore list.
I would suggest ignore that guy even if I use a crappy deck and lost.
I think I've played that same guy. I had a Vedalken Orrery out while playing Lyzolda and he dropped Mycosynth, and it had become evident earlier that he had no interest in a 'fun' game...so I just flashed in an overloaded Vandalblast.
I've played against him too. He makes him games and has about 20 cards in the title that you aren't allowed to use. He calls them unfun, but in reality they are just good vs his deck.
I have my own from today. DGR draft, in round 1. I play turn 3 splatter thug, turn 4 rubblebelt maaka, turn 5 knightly valor, turn six overloaded teleportal to kill my izzet opponent. He rages at me claiming that every card I play sucks, and that he finds it insulting to lose to such crap. He leaves the game and the draft. In the end I got the best of him though, as he blocked me and I got to try to watch him try to defend himself in the chat when I told them the story and he didn't know what I said.
@rhinoflipper I've been playing a lot of combo lately and I can not tell you how much I wanna punch a baby when ever my opponent goes t1 Thoughtsieze but none the less I play through, pretty funny tho from the non-combo side.

Today I saw an EDH game. The title said "No Blue/Infinites/MLD". Now I can understand not wanting infinites and MLD but no blue...seriously? You're going to straight up ban 1/5 of magic cards from your game? Well I joined just out of curiosity, and of course he was playing some super powerful Karador deck. No wonder he didn't want blue in the game. I think it's ridiculous how much people try to control what will happen in their game and what won't.
The game turned out to be just as absurd as I predicted, everyone was dropping Titans and Primordials by turn 4 with absolutely nothing to keep them in check. Some people really don't understand the balance of the game.

They should change it so that people can't kick from rooms. It makes sense that you could be able to block people but once you're in a game with other people, you should have to be the one to walk out. Its a small difference, but a worthwhile one.
I didn't think any of these stories were funny at all, just depressing because of the way the average MTG player looks like.

I don't play on cockatrice, but that functionality alone seems like a bad idea.
On MWS was playing against a guy who got a turn 5 Emrakul, but was at exactly 10 life. Played a Hidetsugu's Second Rite right as it came out and we both had a good laugh.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
The community is so pathetic in cockatrice that I don't have many funny stories, but once I got into a Cards against Humanity game which had like 5 mods in it, laughed my butt off.
about a week ago:
Playing against junk aristocrats, I've ulted garruk, primal hunter. I have at least 8 of the wurms and a few beast tokens. He's at 7. He sacs something to cartel aristocrat giving it protection from green, then taps skirsdag high priest and the other creatures to make the 5/5 demon. I tap the demon with tamiyo. His only untapped creature is cartel aristocrat with protection from green and a lingering soul token.
I declare attackers, swinging in with my wall of 6/6 wurms and the 3/3 beasts.
Him: pro green
Me: ok?
after waiting a bit
Me: so, you're taking lethal, right?
Him: pro green
Me: right, but you can't block all of the wurms
Him: ?
Me: you have 7 life
Him: pro green
You have been kicked from the game.
I still am not really sure what he thought was going on
This happened on OCTGN, not Cockatrice, but the idea is the same. I played Gifts Ungiven and fetched Unburial Rites and Sphinx of the Steel Wind, saying that's all I wanted. He insisted I had to find four cards. I calmly explained to him that the Oracle text reads "up to four cards" on Gifts. "But this card doesn't," he said, referring to the text on the Kamigawa printing of Gifts. I then explained that even if didn't say up to, I can still fail to find the other two cards because they are in a hidden zone. He told me to stop being a [slur for homosexual] and find four cards, to which I responded that I am a [slur for homosexual], and that I only wanted those two. He quit the game. When I PMed him, he told me to look it up, so that I could see that's not how it worked. He refused to listen to my reasoned explanations.
4-player EDH involving Norin the Wary, Dune-Brood Nephilim, Zedruu the Great-Hearted and me piloting Prime Speaker Zegana labeled "Fun game". Prior to the game, the 3 other players gave their a-ok to the Nephilim guy running it.
Early in the game, Norin had a blitz start, getting out Confusion in the Ranks and Blood Moon, making for a painful game for the others. The Nephilim player had also played Earnest Fellowship right before Confusion, making the Red dudes invincible to Confusion targetting them, making things even worse. The Norin player obnoxiously claims that it's a "fun" deck, despite the other players being pretty much locked out of actually playing the game, but any play we make is considered "cheap" by him. But whatever, I had a way of dealing with stuff ready to go upon hitting enough mana, and Norin wasn't really hitting for damage yet.
Due to the scrambling from Confusion in the Ranks, the Blood Moon had ended up at Nephilim's field, and the Fellowship on Zedruu's. I then landed Sol Ring (which got swapped for Norin's), got 7 mana and dropped Sylvan Primordial, nuking the 3 obnoxious enchantments. Both the Nephilim and Zedruu player are happy as this enables some actual gameplay, as Norin was a bit low on land (his 4 to my now 9, Nephilim's 14 (boundless realms)) and Norin was basically slowly trying to regain some field presence. From this point on, he kept trying to direct the Nephilim and Zedruu player to target me since I had the somewhat stronger board position, but whenever someone else took over a bit, he'd immediately remark to target them.
The Nephilim player then dropped Akroma's Memorial and attacked with the Nephilim, hitting Norin. After all, it was Norin who had been trying to prevent us from playing the game. He follows up by overloading Vandalblast, killing my Psychosis Crawler...as well as MY Sol Ring, which was on Norin's field, leaving him without a way to claw back in mana. At this point, the Norin player starts to swear, call the Nephilim player an ******* for playing an illegal deck anyway and leaves. The other guys and me just agreed that he was an idiot and we carried on.
I won next turn courtesy of a revived Psychosis Crawler and two clones on Zegana btw.

I find it amusing how some people rate software like "cockatrice" on the minority of reports on players that have no idea on what there doing or are simply bad players. Having used many of the software packages offered to play MTG there are bad experiences in all. It doesn't make one worse or better in my mind. Statements such as "the cockatrice community" should really be phrased more like "the mtg community" as that is the underlying game being played IMO. You even have bad players / experiences IRL.
Consider this, out of the 100's if not 1000's of games played in a day on cockatrice (not just the woogerworks server, as there are others that run them as well) and I am sure there are more bad than reported here but considering just a few have been reported the % of bad to good games is very low.
So in essence: he makes a horrible play, doesn't understand basic magic, gets highly embarrassed and instead of having to quit in embarrassment like on MWS - gets to kick someone like a coward.
I played cockatrice back when I was new to the game. I had spent a bit of time going through all the cards and even read up on some of the ruling since I found the complexity of the game so interesting. One of the greatest aspects of MTG.
I join one of the first online games I ever played and it went something like this:
