First of all, I did not see a thread with a solution to this problem, but if there is one, could someone please direct me there?
In any case, I just set up Cockatrice and downloaded all the sets through the oracle there. It said that I downloaded about 11000 cards, which is know is about the number of cards in magic, so that seemed to work all right. However, in the deck editor, the search function does not find certain cards (such as basic islands, force of will, humility, swords to plowshares, engineered explosives and some others). I was wondering if there was a solution to this problem or if it is just a software bug. It's kind of annoying deciding to try out this software and test some legacy but only being able to find half the cards for your deck in the database. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Keep in mind that Cockatrice players mostly don't give a sh*t. They'll join whatever game they see and play P9 cards and anything else that's banned/restricted in abundance. I don't know how many games I've tried on there labeling the room as Legacy/Standard and had multiple players join who've just seemed to ignore it and play whatever the f**k they wanted.
I think you connect to a Deutsch server by default and some of them seemed to not understand what I was talking about when I said the cards they were playing are banned...maybe there's another place to connect to for like, English-speaking players but, I dunno, that's just my experience.
So there's no fix for my problem? There are just certain cards that I can't play on cockatrice? Well that's kind of disappointing...
You're probably not going to like this answer, but have you considered redownloading it(Uninstall the first one before you download the second one.), and trying again? I mean, that's really all I can think of.
u dont need to uninstall, go to your start menu and rerun the oracle program itll redownload everything including the cards it missed. After i downloaded it i tried building a jund deck but didnt have maelstrum pulse, bloodbraid elf, and sooo much more. But yeah, the oracle tool should fix it

I just tried doing this for the third time, and I still am missing a lot of cards. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
