@GopZ : Sets are parsed through the Wizards' gatherer when you connect gatherer extractor to it. It means Zendikar Rising will be available at the moment it is available on the Wizards' gatherer. But at this stage, you will have to manually implement the set codes, booster contents, legality updates, flip cards update etc. Or download the software database update I provide
In addition, you can check from the tool if updates are available. You will be notified with a pop-up when a new update is ready.
NB: In order to avoid a mix-up between ZNR and CZNR, CZNR cards on Scryfall have not had a multiverseID yet. I advide you to wait for the scryfall update, or you will have duplicated cards in ZNR and CZNR. In addition, I invite you to first extract the main data of the two sets, before launching a complete extraction.
By default, Gatherer Extractor is moslty focused on paper sets, not MTGO sets.
Nevertheless, you can manually create 'The List' set in Options > Sets. Then in the Scryfall table, you add the following entry:
Name: The List (.. or the name you want!)
Scryfall set code: PLIST (with large caps)
Then restart. GEx will detect the new set and ask you for a custom set code (which can the same as the Scryfall one) and a release date. See pictures in attachment for a visual support.
Hello Chaudakh, I've been looking into the app, it's awesome. Is it possible to add a function so that you can download png files with transparent corners from Scryfall? I just need high-res card images with transparent corners in png format. Like the ones you can download of Scryfall for each and every card individually, they provide a download link for it each time. But that's a pain in the ass to do it one by one. Or is something like this already possible with the app? Or is there a workaround?
Thanks for your reply!
@Zirrotik : Sets are added automatically from the Gatherer and Scryfall. If new sets are available there, they will be available in GEx. I usually provide setting updates so that the inclusion of new set parameters (booster package, set legality etc.) is not a user burden. This is what I did in release 6.7d.
@ Grandmaster P : Thank you for your comment. It should be possible. Could you provide an example link to what you want? I'll see how I can add this to the current offered options. I will let you know.
Hey there! I just downloaded the data for Kaldheim, and it looks like the Back data isn't being pulled for the double-sided module cards. For example, if you look at Halvar, God of Battle, it will show that he has no card on his back, but it should be Sword of the Realms. Interestingly, double-sided module cards appeared to have pulled correctly from Zendikar Rising.
Thanks!

@ nickman55: Yes,this is because the double-faced card list has to be updated in the Options menu.
I did it for you in release 6.7e. I also updated the booster packs etc. This last version should extract Kaldheim correctly.
Hello, very good software to extract spoiler from scryfall. I would like to report an issue. When I extract data including token cards, exporting spoiler for mws cannot be selected. It would be nice to correct this.
@user-18041209 : Exporting spoiler to MWS is only possible when all data of a given set have been extracted (see image below). If you extracted only the main data (card IDs and names), MWS export is disactivated because some mandatory information are missing (mana cost, card text etc.)
Hello, first of all, thank you for your work, awesome program!!! I have a question though: how can I extract the japanese alternate planeswalkers from WAR? I've tried selecting also japanese when downloading all data, but they don't come up
@Chaudakh - Thanks so much! Does this mean that the list will have to be updated for all future double-fece cards?
Additionally, I noticed that there are some cards from Kaldheim missing from the extraction. They appear to be promo/showcase/special cards that have Collector Numbers higher than the last card in the main set. For example, if I do a full extract, it appears that cards 286, 290-293, 299-300, 302-303, 306-308, 311, 313-314, and 317-318 are missing from the list. I've attached a screenshot showing some of the missing cards.
Thanks!

@nickman55:
1/ Yes the list will has to be updated for all future double-face cards ....... but I will do it for you
2/ You have to first extract main data of KHM and CKHM. Then launch a full extract. I know it is a bit messy but the showcase/promo/special are not easy to deal with. (See screenshot).
This is the only way to get them in the correct set. If you proceed differently, promos will be attached to KHM and not CKHM for instance because those are also available on the gatherer as alternates.
Is there a way to ask it to create folders according to scryfall codes? I.e.: FNM gathers a lot of scryfall set codes for the various years (F18,F17 and so on).
Also can you please give me an hint for a method to extract japanese alternate art for WAR? Thank you
@Mikori Games : I will see how I can fix the transparency issues of corners... provided the sources have transparent corners. Or force corners to be transparent.
@ezellohar81 : The basic idea of gathering lots of scryfall codes is to avoid to have multiple "similar" sets composed of a small number of cards which differ only from the year of issue. For example, as you mentioned, I created a set named Friday Night Magic which gathers FNM cards of all years. As a consequence, there are not direct ways to force the creation of dedicated folders for F18, F17 and so on when extracting scans of the FNM set.
The only solution is to erase the FNM set in the 'promo set' option menu and record manually a set for F18, F17 etc. Cumbersome.
Maybe I can add an option to force the creation of such folders if you are interested in. However it makes the scan management even more complex afterwards, because scans are no more systematically stored according to their set (here FNM), but potentially according to their scryfall source (F19, F18 etc.). Let me know.
@Chaudakh: Thank you for the answer. I agree that your solution is a good one, and I've always found useful the 'collective' sets. Nevertheless, sometimes having a more granular control in the process could be useful (latest Forge snapshots for instance require the smaller sets based on the year. So if it could be easily added, it could be a nice addendum. I've thought about erasing the FNM set and recreating manually all the sets per year but... as you said, it's really cumbersome! So if you could implement it, I'd vote for it... I hope it's not too much work for it...
@ezellohar81 : Following the example, if pics are stored in subfolders inside the FNM folder, would it be OK for you? The subfolders would be named F18, F17 etc. following the scryfall set codes, but without the scryfall set name. Let me know.
Is there a way - in gatherer Extractor - to extract the png in 745x1040 format? I'd like to get the card images in png 745x1040, and named "*.full.png" ......
It is the same image you download individually on each card page, from the web site of Scryfall...
@ verdealex79 : I will add the possibility to extract XLHQ pngs from the scryfall api in the next large release. Thanks for having reported it was missing.
@verdealex79 & @ezellohar81 : The imporvement you requested are available in the last release. If you find a bug or something, feel free to report and I will fix it asap.

Like this one for example (card url and png url):
https://scryfall.com/card/chr/4/blood-of-the-martyr
https://c1.scryfall.com/file/scryfall-cards/png/front/8/2/823b637b-e089-479a-88c0-be014516429a.png?1562921338
By looking at the api, there should be an option to download that format too, with the API:
https://scryfall.com/docs/api/images
Thank you for this awesome software!!!
