Sorry if this is a common topic, but I'll be getting a smart phone soonish and was wondering what I should look out for? I was surprised to not see this topic stickied!
MtG Tracker/MtG Tracker Pro is the BEST life tracker app I've seen, anywhere. It stores win/loss statistics by opponent (even by deck if you add your decks to the app... and remember to set which deck you're using, which I always forget to do), it tracks poison, it tracks general damage & general tax for EDH, it works with an arbitrarily large number of players in the game, it has a tournament mode which I've never bothered to figure out but more power to ya for that... And it looks very professional. There've been the occasional bugs, but the developer is very responsive in fixing them, even for minor stuff. My only actual complaint about it is in jest: life is stored as a signed 32-bit value, limiting the maximum life total to ~2.15billion. My infinite combo roflthoper deck needs more life!!! D:
I also strongly recommend MtG Trader for *ahem* obvious reasons.
Edit: The Android Market has "MtG Trader" (mine), and "MtgTrader" (by Flowers In Space SL). Both apps were developed independently for roughly the same purpose, with mine released a few weeks earlier. Flowers' version has pictures of the cards (mine doesn't, though the intent of the app was for comparing prices of cards sitting right in front of you) and has only one column for listing cards (my version has two columns for immediate comparison of both sides of the trade). Flowers' version also lists prices in Euros, while I use USD. And Flowers' app has ads. And 1/10th the number of downloads I have.
I'm not sure what Flowers' app uses for card prices, but based solely on the July 6 update description saying "Cards updated up to Magic 2012", it's a manual thing stored in the app, rather than a lookup. I use the MOTL price lists, as they're easy to parse and come equipped with regex searching.
(Then again, Flowers' currently has M12, while MOTL hasn't created an M12 price guide yet, therefore I don't have M12 in my app.)
Thanks for the heads up. My only complaint with Magic Trader is that it uses MOTL for prices. Many times the online price and "real life" price can be drastically different. Looks nice though!

The problem with using other sources for price comparisons is that the other major price comparison sites have the price along with a million other things on the page. Parsing is a nightmare, and it takes much longer to download that data. While MOTL isn't everyone's ideal for finding a price to buy/sell a card at, comparing relative prices for trading purposes really only requires using the same source. (And checking a price on MOTL only requires downloading a tiny text file unless you have a hugely broad search, such as 'starts with the letter a')
(Also, I'm accessing MOTL's physical non-foils and physical foils price guides, not prices for online cards.)
If you know somewhere other than MOTL with read-access to their prices database, I'd love to add to my app.
Mmmm, I am wondering if there is a software like mws but not to play, simply to manage decks, see cards (without images, oracle and goblin hero theme will be enough) that is running on android...
I don't know whether you can import decks, but mtg tracker is definitely the best app. Haven't seen another app even close. It has life tracking, deck building, and price checking all in one.

It will be nice to suggest this option to developers... but I don't know how!
I can't find MTG tracker developer email... just the website (shalafi) and the app in the market.
My version is 3.8.3 and even if i read that there is 4.3 around I cannot get the update. Maybe it is not ok for my phone (zte blade with cyanogenmod 7.0.3)
I wrote to MTG tutor developer too, it should support decks importing but it is not clear how
Somebody uploaded a video of Wagic running on the Xperia play, it's pretty cool (the version on the video is heavily modded, we do not distribute any copyrighted content with the game) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0CWaaY-c7E

3.8.5 is the newest version, according to the Android Market. Shalafi's email is on the Android Market page for the app (on the phone, don't see it on the web version of the store). I'd rather not go posting the email of random strangers on public websites, so if you still can't find his email, send me a PM.
Magic Toolbox is IIRC from WoTC. It has a lot of features including gatherer, deck list managers, W-L-D tracker etc.

Thanks, I am trying mtg tutor now, but I cannot import decks in mws or *.dec file directly from my pc...
The app does not see them.
With mtg tracker instead, the app sees just decks created by itself (in *.dec) but not importing the ones from my pc.
How can I do?

I use to manage decks, stats and keep life counter when I play, probably a must for each mtg player android user.
