FYI, on the rigging thing, it doesn't sound like something that is easy to trigger to the extreme that people like Desolator presented. I had forgotten that one of my friends who is playing looked into it and he tried to get the same kind of situation where if he ran a particular deck and mulligan down to two cards, every single one would just give one land. He just wasn't able to pull off the situation, but there was a pattern to the madness, so to speak. For one, the people who were seeing it were streamers who play for long periods of time: Probably more time than many people actually play the game in one go. The second part of it is that Rank probably has a lot to do with it as well.
The thing with these systems is that they are supposed to "fudge" things in an imperceptible fashion. If people could tell call of duty was rigging shots to let everyone have a fair shake, people would riot since the game is taking away their freedom, so to speak. If it does it in a way that looks natural, such as ramping up slowly, than no one would likely know the system is there.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Arena is too difficult for me, in the end I had to give up on it. I played Arena from the time Guilds came onto it, and have been playing for 3-4 hours minimal a day. (sometimes 6 if I was trying out guides, decks from videos etc). Never won one game. Used all my quest money (and redeem code) to get packs and WCs, which I used to get sets of chase rares: Doom Whisperer, Assasains Trophy, Woodland Cemetery etc. Was focusing on one deck Golgari, but still lost every game, even to the intro decks. But it would appear that it just wasn't working out for me.

And no it isn't newb friendly.
As someone who's been using a golgari deck put together mostly from drafts and prize packs, I'm very curious as to how it kept losing you games. I've spent very few rare and mythic wildcards (I've wildcarded one carnage tyrant and one jadelight ranger, though I'm aware I've been lucky to pull 2 assassin's trophy and 3 nullhide ferox out of packs, plus a vraska and a vivian I raredrafted) and the deck has recently just been rolling over people, especially in the comp constructed queues where a lot of people are on mono red aggro. You play dudes and stabilize on 7-8 life after trading with their creatures, drop ferox, and they're just stuck in topdeck mode.

That is weird. I am mosty now only using two GRN planeswalker decks in Arena, which I am slowly upgrading from ePacks. So far Firemind's Research, Piston-Fist Cyclops, Crackling Drake for Ral's, Vicious Rumors, Ochran Assassin, Pitiless Gorgon, and Overgrown Tomb for Vraska's. I am playing only ladder and with these decks I have now roughly 40% winning rate consistently.
And I believe that you must also already have several free two color decks which Arena gets you for free as rewards. I tried white-red one and it's also quite decent.
Eventually I did get those decks, the BW lifegain one was alright.
One of the issues I had was land. Every game, 14-15 cards in I would seemingly always draw 9 or so land and while my opponents had perfect curves and draws. 99% of Merfolk Branchwalker I played revealed more land.
Every now and then, you will meet opponent who will smash you on-curve within three turns. There is nothing to do with this.
But in casual ladder you won't meet much of those...
And try Ral's deck. You won't have problems with surplus lands in hand. They are excellent for jump-starting
The list seems a bit light on removal IMO but you should be tearing things up in ladder events. What decks do you find yourself losing to the most?

For me, i think, there is some problem with matchmaking. I played tutorial and about 20 games with starter decks (more than half with green one). Never won one game. Every opponent was higier in rank and had better (or more synergetic) cards then me. I actually considered spending 20-50$$ on packs. But now i won`t. Judging on my experience, game developers doesn`t want me or my money. May be they souldn`t.
Loved lot of game aspects actually (visuals, card art, game mechanics comparing to HS and Gwent) but machmaking and starter decks suck. Will check on the game in several years or won`t.
Sorry for my bad eanglish, it`s not native and i needed to drop some frustration Badly.
What decks do you find yourself losing to the most?
Every deck. Even to the 2 color introduction decks (the RG with carnage Tyrant wrecked me).
I finally decided to give Arena a retry, but results were still the same. Even went in a Constructed (keep playing till 7 wins, 3 losses), 3 losses-lasted barely 10 minutes. Now I have 0 gold lol. It just seems that after pretty much 4 weeks and over 100 hours of playing, guides, videos, putting all that effort into it etc and still getting pummeled, even by intro decks, that it is a lost cause, no?

Are you always playing in the Events or just doing random games? I play basically only "pick-up" games just to get the gold from Daily Challenges and to win 4 times since that is worth the most gold. I just take whatever deck matches the color requirements of the challenge or whatever deck I think can meet it the best. While doing so, I usually win 1 or 2 games (I probably lose 3 or 4). And this is with the pre-constructed decks; I have a UR deck and a RW deck and the RW deck us abyssmal. But even with that I don't win a lot.
My point is that while I am not even close to a 50/50 win percentage, I am not close to losing all the time. And I have done very little to actually build a competitive deck. I think I have redeemed a total of 5 wild cards and 1 of them was for an additional copy of the promo Teferi from playing in the closed beta. Otherwise, I just play the cards I have opened in packs.
Also, as others have pointed out, any gold you accumulate is best spent on Drafts. At least, in the early parts of building up a collection. For 5000 gold you get a guaranteed 4 packs but you get more cards in 3 of those packs than you would in opening packs. Plus, you get gems which can be used to enter other events later. The best thing about it is that everyone you play against starts at the same level; no one can buy their way into a better deck. It is all about your drafting and playing skills. And even scrubbing out still kind of ends up being better than just buying 5 packs with that gold since you get more cards (maybe not as many rares). The only thing you don't get is the possibility of opening wildcards which does suck since the vault progress, I am pretty sure, is exceptionally slow. To the point where I think it will take a lot of drafts for it to ever fill up.
Anyway, in the end you may find it is a lost cause for you to continue playing but for you to lose as much as you say you are suggests that it is less likely a fault of the game.
On a side note, I would point out that playing in a Constructed Event and losing 3 games without winning any still ends up with 100 gold. So, you can't be at 0 gold.

I'm not blaming the game at all. It is too difficult for ME, but I am not stating it may be difficult for others, heh yeah I'm just mentally slow lol.

I had 1400 gold to start with... - 500 for games: 900. 100 prize from games: 1000. Pack bought: 0
Actuially i must admit that i was wrong previously. Apparently my problem was in that my one-colored starter decks were wrecked by another people's two color starter decks wich you start to get on second day quests. Now i`m so much more exited!
Just an FYI: you should literally never, ever be buying packs. At 1000 coins vs. the variance and number of cards in the pack, its not at all worth it. People generally dont try to assemble playsets by just purchasing arbitrary packs. The best way to play and accumulate cards is through limited.
I just started playing again since MTGA came out. I figured it could rekindle the fire and allow me to play with some ok players in a convenient setting. I have top 8ed a few ptqs in my lifetime and was T2 strategist of the year on this site in like 2003, so I was decent, but right now, I am no Kai Budde lol. I say that just to preface that I am not some rando content creator who is a savage player just telling you to go "infinite."
The best way to approach things is to grind to 5000 coins (which roughly takes 1.5days) and then just draft ravnica. You get 3 losses, the games go quick. I have run the table to 7 wins, multiple times accumulating enough gems to at the very least, draft again. Grind that out until you get 1500 gems and play comp. rav draft. After that, a single win nets you 800 gems and a pack. I just switch back and forth. Not enough gems for comp. draft? Go grind some more on the regular rav. draft. Lather, rinse, repeat. Its actually pretty easy not to spend a boat load of cash this way and still accumulate a decent pool of cards.

The issue with this is you need to be able to constantly go infinite on drafts (6 wins minimum to turn a profit) and it's really become a pain. There's an objectively best deck in the format in Dimir Surveil, but if you don't get passed the cards to make it (Disinformation campaign being the lynchpin) then your deck will lose to whoever did. If you have any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them, but every time I've played dimir I got paid, and every time I haven't the deck just loses to lockdown control.

Thats certainly an issue with UB being very good, and then the rest, but its still not a 'cost' right now. We are all just building up our collections, to the point we can do constructed, without paying for it.
