So, this past weekend I finally played through the game. Previously I'd only played one or two of the story battles. One of the 'Skill Quests' was entirely broken for me, in that it wanted me to use an alternative cost mechanic to win (either surge or madness, forget which), but it never loaded my board state so all I could do was sit there and fail over and over.
Which story battle were you playing when this happened? When it happened to me I was in the middle of the very last Oath of the Gatewatch story battle. My board was completely empty during the skill quest and my hand was filled with cards from the story battle deck. I wondered at the time if it had to do with the fact that your opening hand is a fixed set of cards during that story battle.
Can confirm, Thopter Engineer grants haste to all artifacts an works as normal.
Also, an update went live last night. Anybody got info on what it's done? Nothing's noticeably changed for me.
This looks like a legitimate bug, though it does not seem to affect gameplay (just aesthetics). I've seen Sylvan Advocates missing their vigilance icons (though they do have vigilance since they don't tap on attack) when they enter play through Woodland Bellower.
This bugs occurs
1. when you have at least 3 creatures, 2 of which should have the Attacks each turn rules text, the 3rd without said rules text; all should be able to attack.
2. when the Attacks-each-turn creatures are on either side of the third creature. Example: Mage-Ring Bully, Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, Mage-Ring Bully.
3. on your declare attackers step.
Bug behaviour
All Attacks-each-turn creatures get declared automatically (in this caes, the 2 Bullies). The 3rd creature (Jace) also gets him/her/it-self declared (on my mind both Bullies got their arms on Jace's shoulders forcing him on their charge unwillingly). You can pull back the 3rd creature, though, before confirming the attack, but if you're not paying close attention then you could be sending Jace on a suicide run.
Damn, after losing again because of the second main phase timer bug and the Jace bug and then losing because the Timer didn't want to stop when I told it to... I have to admit I'm losing my patience too a little...
Do you have the checkbox that always asks if you want to do an ability?, it is in the settings.
I have it always ask me if I want to do a triggered ability.
Once I get the hang of the jumping to the combat and end step, if you have all instant speed activated abilities/spells the game seems better in this update for me. (The one that drives me mad is trying to use the blue vessel to mil three cards on myself which puts 4 cards in the yard for me to flip jace but its already the end step and I can't use him any more)
I'm Mike, from The Mana Pool.
Check out my Tapped Out profile and comment on my decks!
