I got one but I spent the $25 bucks (or whatever it was) to get enough booster packs to get the full BFZ set. It's a helluva lot of fun to cast Ulamog, I gotta say. I built a ramp deck with Oblivion Sower, Ulamog, and two Desolation Twins. If I draw the ramp cards I need and can get those guys out there it's usually an automatic win.
At the time I asked this question, I had no idea how the booster packs worked. I did not know that once you collect 4/3/2/1 of a common/uncommon/rare/mythic that you will never open another one. Thus, every pack you open lowers the total card pool left for that set and means every pack you open you have a higher probability to open the card you are looking for.
It also means there is a finite number of packs needed to open an entire set.
So, it is only a matter of time for anyone to get Ulamog and my original question is no longer valid lol.

I'm fairly confident I will think of something to say. Active Player: 1994-1999, 2016-
You can have max of 4 copies of each common, 3 copies of each uncommon, 2 of each rare, and 1 of each mythic. So, the more packs you open of any particular set will diminish the total cards left available in that set and thus every pack you open you have a better chance to get the card you are looking for.

Mind blown. I didn't know that. It actually kind of makes me like the game even more. I think that people on Duels seem much more creative with respect to deck-building.

I do really like that people cannot purchase individual cards. It makes Duels quite fun, IMHO.
