I've been playing since launch and maxing the coin cap each day. Got all my give planeswalker and many rares, and BOMB, entire collection gone! And customer service is silent! I don't understand why Wizards keep forcing us to stop playing the game we love. First MTGO, now this...
Just want to share this so you don't get surprise like I do when you see your entire collection gone.
I haven't experienced that but there are other things that bother me though. (Although I've read online that people have the same issues as OP).
My problem is a bit more in actual play experience I think.
I think the timer system is too loose. I am not talking about the buggy issues either. A few times already, noticeable from a certain crew (recogniseable by their names), in ranked matches when I am about to win, my opponents just won't pass priority. Longest time I've waited was like an hour and nothing. Unsportsmanlike behaviour is totally exploitable if the "Stop Timer" doesn't have a slower timer on it. 30 seconds should be more than enough here. The problem here lies that I am unable to report these people anywhere ingame.
I also think in ranked matches that one shouldn't finish vs an AI if the opponent concedes. What is the point in ranking up vs AI? I think the win should just be awarded if that happens. I don't think this can be exploited either since ranked matches seems randomly paired to an extent.
There is also an issue with Chandra flipping. I've double checked the rules and I am sure that pinging an opponent, untapping chandra and successfully attacking in one turn should flip Chandra. Not happening. I did see one flip when I Fiery Inquiry'd (for 3 dmg) one after my opponent attempted to ping me. I've lost and won a few matches due to technicalities that I've had no business winning or losing. Chandra example used LOST me that game for example.
Finally, I disagree wholeheartedly with the coin limit. You know what is fun? Earning my coins and achievements. It feels productive and satisfying. You know what isn't fun? Capping out with the will to play the game even more for boosters but having to wait 24 hours before being able to win stuff. Once capped on earned coins I feel no need to play anymore because I cannot continue building my collection (which is an achievement as well). Slowing me down is unfun

That is only true if you do it the other way around. You can't ping first then attack. You have to attack then ping. The reason for this is that transforming her is tied to her pinging ability. When you activated it, she only did one damage. You did two more later on, but you would need to activate the ability again to get her to transform.
Update: support getting back to me and they are giving me 26 boosters back. What a ridiculous move. I've sent them my screen capture of the achievement on "Origins Five" (i.e. having collect 5 planeswalker) and they give me back boosters...
I can't understand why they can't just revert my collection to previous state. Having your entire collection erased and then give you back 26 boosters definitely turn me away from playing this game anymore.

Most likely your collection was wiped out in the database. I'm sure they do backups but restoring a backup for a single player is likely very difficult and prone to causing problems for other players.
Well, I haven't been able to play the darn thing AT ALL! The game detects false inputs and thinks I'm holding the down arrow even when my keyboard isn't even plugged in, so I can't get past any menus.
You wouldn't happen to have any kind of controller plugged into your computer, would you? I can imagine some 3rd party controller whose driver doesn't handle the dead zone properly for the left analog stick doing exactly what you describe.

I tried starting the game with only my mouse plugged in and I still got the same problem, and this is the only game that does it

The first rule of Cursecatcher is, You do not talk about Cursecatcher.
The only issue I've really had are just the random disconnects on Steam. No other PC game does this except Magic Duels.
