In Shadows Over Innistrad Block, Emrakul got locked up in Innistrad s Silver Moon. Emrakul had herself locked in there due to one person who took away options: Nahiri. Emrakul was relying on Nahiri to help fight threats that would atop the feeding, but Nahiri went after Sorin and later left Innistrad, leaving Emrakul alone. So Emrakul allowed herself to be locked into Innistrads moon but with anger towards Nahiri for betrayal. The thing with Emrakul is that she is smarter than expected. Emrakul ia pretty strong as well, but her intelligence and strategy is the main concern. Emrakul may find a way to get herself back to get payment towards a traitor who betrayed her when she arrived. If storyline continues, Emrakul may come BACK to get revenge on Nahiri and everything close to her. When it comes to Emrakul, she does not play a foul shot someone put on her. So Nahiri also made a dangerous mistake, one that may lead to a terrifying end...
Nahiri and Emrakul weren't working together in the typical sense. Emrakul is likely completely unaware of Nahiri's existence and as such would not hold a grudge or feel betrayed.
While the Eldrazi are obviously intelligent beings their frame of mind is so different from ours that it is difficult understand thoughts and motivations. We gleamed from Emrakul's conversation with Jace that they normal have some specific purpose and the land is meant to accept them, but Innistrad wasn't ready for them so they were going to wait in the moon until Innistrad was ready. The whole concept of communication seemed foreign to Emrakul, and they mentioned several times that it was difficult to communicate with Jace.
I understand that. I just notice how Emrakul has intelligence: knowing how to get into someone mind and gain control. Emrakul most likely did not know enough on Nahiri, yet Emrakul was wanting Ulamog and Kozilek to help out. The only thing Emrakul probably noticed on Nahiri was her voice or what mana Nahiri uses or something, but still had not even good enough imformation on Nahiri. I have a feeling that Emrakul gave up due to not having backup. Emrakul siad she was not ready yet, most likely true. Yet Emrakul was alone most of the way with almost NO backup if a threat was there. Emrakul is waiting for a good time to come back and get mana for herself. Yet, do not say that Emrakul does not have enough intelligence, for she understands things more than the other two. Also she looks like a giant brain anyway, but that is off topic. Emrakul is smart, but in a different way. Though jf they brought Emrakul back, that would be a better end, mainly due to a dark, battle filled ending of the storyline of ALL of MTG. The Ravinica part I am not very favorable of. Even Rise of the Eldrazi was a lot better. I am a dark storyliner, though.
I don't think "Grudge" is part of their mindset. They are so foreign to our mindset I imagine even being trapped for millenia didn't really bother them. More like:
"We eat this plane now"
"Oh, why don't I eat anymore? Some strange magic? Oh well, doesn't matter, will continue to eat soon, probably." (few millenia later, feels like a second to an eldrazi) "Oh yes, those phenomens that keep me from eating are always over in a blink of an eye. Lets just go on where we took of"
I want to remind everyone about the question posed to blog-atog about whether the phyrexians or Eldrazi would win, and MaRo responded with something along the lines of:
If the two ever met, we would most likely end up seeing a compleated Emrakul
This was just a scary thought way back when there were still the New Phyrexians and the three Eldrazi Titans, but now that Emrakul is the last one around...if she comes back, it may complicate the plan to blow up New Phyrexia...

Emrakul becoming the new yawgmoth would be sweet actually
But really the eldrazis have Ben around even longer than any of the walkers and characters combined so it’s hard not to theorize there’s more than just the 3 or somehow replacements are made plus ugin already theorized they have a purpose in the multiverse for some reason
There’s a theory there’s more or if emrakul is the leader of the eldrazi’s she probably have the power to make a new version of ulamog and kozilek (new names ofcoarse)
And the disgusting eldritch horrors made by her probably start like that then turn into a form of what ulamog/kozilek would look like.

I feel like emrakul is waiting for ulamog and kozilek (or replacements if she knows their dead) to arrive to innistrad and make it so it’s ready
But emrakul will be back and exit when ready

If this is innistrad it's time
