So a question popped up in my head and I'm not entirely sure how it would play out. What would an encounter between Nissa and Garruk be like if they were to meet?
Garruk being curious of Nissa, Her being kind but not pitying him. I'd imagine they would share common ground over their distaste with Liliana and her Chain Veil.
To be honest out of all the members of the gatewatch i feel like nissa is the most likely to die. so if she survives amonkhet and then encounters garruk i feel like that would just add a free kill to garruks planeswalker KO belt.

an eye for an eye will make the world blind. but if the enemy is blind they wont see us coming!
Hmm. The question is if they were to meet, but not necessarily how they met.
Assuming that Garruk can understand Nissa when she is doing her remote viewing trick with the leylines/aether-streams, then the conversation could be actually quite interesting between the two as both are druids and have some familiarity with nature speech. Since Garruk is dealing with a planeswalker whose body is not within his presence and he has shown no knowledge of using leylines, he doesn't necessarily have a means to reverse track her within that manner. If Nissa has been following him through the leylines, technically she can always see where Garruk may travel and that means he wouldn't have the element of surprise.
Current Garruk would have one of two thoughts: Kill (because Planeswalker) or Don't Kill (because allied with Jace, and he promised...though he won't necessarily keep that).
Non-cursed Garruk might share the belief that civilizations are bad, but they diverge in that respect too. Nissa doesn't like cities because she feels cut off, Garruk doesn't like them because he finds them actual affronts to nature. It's arguably the difference between Selesnya (Nissa) and Gruul (Garruk).
They'd probably also disagree about the best aspects of nature, beasts vs. elements.
I don't really see Garruk getting along with anyone, merely having grudging acceptance of them.

Although, Garruk's been golgari before, and Nissa was said to have used black magic in the past!
Either way, I feel like it's an interaction that'll never happen honestly :/ I can't decide if he'd kill her, or not.. either way I don't think Nissa's stupid enough to chance it, and could pooosssibbblyy kick his ass if he tried?
