Thinking about the upcoming story of Kaladesh I have to wonder about the significance in the story for the Gatewatch. It seems too early in their run right after concluding their first story-arc, but the plane's possible role as a world shortly before a revolution/civil war seems like a perfect setting to stir up some internal conflict not only in the populace, but in the Gatewatch itself. This goes especially if you consider the official role of the Gatewatch being to keep "order" and the personal ties of Chandra pushing her towards the revolutionaries.
If the Æther Revolt plays out as a conflict in which the populace is split, then there is no clear external thread to the plane. The fact that each Gatewatch member formulated their own oath could be significant in such a situation as well. Gideon's and Chandra's interests for example will not align if Gideon sees a revolution as a peaceful world desending into conflict and Chandra sees the same as a chance of freedom for the people.
We already are introduced as the Consulate as seemingly villainous, but there is a chance to explore grey areas of morality here as well as questions of loyalty.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

I think that it's to early to do the civil war story. The Gatewatch just formed and they only have five members. Gideon and Jace aren't even on Kaladesh, they're on Ravnia and plan to stay there for a while (because of Vraska and paperwork respectively). Liliana went with Chandra to Kaladesh, so she seems to be on board with the revolution plan, in fact she may have suggested it in the first place. I think Nissa will be far more sympathetic for Chandra's cause than the she will for the Consul's. I do think that we will see a civil war story for the Gatewatch at some point, but I don't think Kaladesh is the place for it. I do agree that this story could be more morally ambiguous than its predecessors, and I sincerely hope that it's more complicated than "rebellion is good, government is evil," instead making people question which side they agree with more.
I don't expect any in-fighting, as SultaiAscendancy said, there's only 5 members of the Gatewatch. What I do expect is Chandra to run off and do something brash (as expected of her character and color), that changes the dynamic of the Gatewatch. Personally I'm hoping they change it from running it like the scooby doo detective agency and instead start doing more pro-active things and going after planar threats.
Based on the full spoiler, infighting seems rather unlikely. See Dramatic Reversal: Chandra seems happy that Jace butts in to save her and her mom (and the rest of the Gatewatch + Ajani). And besides, while Nissa perhaps does arrive at Kaladesh together with Dovin, they have already parted ways with Dovin back in Consul after Pia is captured, and Nissa going to help Chandra free Pia with the help from Mrs. Pashiri (and later Ajani).
Well, having said that, Nissa does seem to grow a bit of bad blood with Liliana. Time will tell if this sticks.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
