I have something to confess,
Sometimes when I become invested in a story certain music becomes associated with certain characters, plot-lines and even 'ships. Am I the only one who does this? Is this wierd? Anyways, here is a list of some of my associations, please share yours!
First,
Planeswalkers in General
- Kelly Clarkson's "People Like Us" Our Heroes and villians are an exceptionally select, empowered population in the multiverse...
-Danny Fernandez's "Come Back Down" When one becomes a planeswalker it changes their relationship with planebound peoples
Elspeth Tirel
- Bastille's "Pompeii" Her feelings towards Bant, slow disenfranchisement with Theros.....and it's conclusion
- Virginia to Vegas' (and Alyssa Reid's)"We are Stars"
-David Guetta's (w/Sia) "Titanium" In Theros she was pretty much unstoppable until...
Chandra Nalaar
- Ellie Goulding's "Burn" nuff said
- Phillip Phillip's "Raging Fire" again, nuff said
Gideon Jura and Chandra Nalaar
- Zedd's "Clarity"
-Pink's "True Love" I think they could be potentially attracted to the other but at the same infuriatingly frustrated at the other as well
Gideon Jura
--Swedish House Mafia's "Don't you Worry Child" I think that the multiverse has a grand destiny for him, but it may end in tragedy. Alternatively works well with Jace too...
Jace Beleren
-Guns N Roses' "One in a Million" I think Jace is pretty self absorbed but isolated @ same time. I admit I'm not a fan
-Glenn Morrison's "Goodbye" This define's his and Emmara failed 'ship
Garruk
-Three Day's Grace' "Animal I've Become" cuz he has became sorta a monster
Xenagos
-Pitbull's "Timber" Pretty much a perfect song for hedonism and reckless abandon
That's all I got! Wht about y'all?

Wizards. listen. The Vorthos community will await the consequences of the Eldrazi Titans' deaths/sealing. We will keep the watch.

Chandra's theme should be "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage
Gideon needs a real heroic-type theme. I nominate "America-F*** Yeah" from the Team America World Police soundtrack.
I'll post more as I think of 'em.
I can't help but think of Tamiyo everytime I hear "Zero Gravity" by Kerli. It's only a feeling, the whole "ethereal" vibe of the song, because the lyrics aren't exactly themed like the planeswalker herself, so...
Chandra: Firestarter by Prodigy
Tamiyo: Arsenal fr Lydmor - Lie Low combines mystic mood with japanese themes
Ashiok: Man Next Door from Massive Attack because the guy is clearly creepy, or Believe from the Chemical Brothers for the nightmare-madness-inducing thing
Garruk: Roots from Sepultura
Liliana: Family Portrait - an apparently nice girl whose life went south, or Crawling from Linkin Park
Xenagos: Fight for your right to party! from the Beastie Boys
Ugin: Teardrop from Massive Attack. He's still in his cocoon
Liliana: "Friends On the Other Side" (Princess and the Frog/Keith David)
Gideon: "Citizen/Soldier" (3 Doors Down)
Chandra: "I Burn" (Jeff Williams/Casey Williams/Lamar Hall)
Koth: "The Eco-Terrorist in Me" (Rise Against)
Sarkhan: "No Strings" (I Fight Dragons)
Narset: "Sudden Life" (Rise Against)
Sorin: "Distant Honor" (Miracle of Sound)
Garruk: "The Savage Side of Me" (Miracle of Sound)
Nissa: "Architects" (Rise Against)
Elspeth: "Prayer of the Refugee" (Rise Against)

"The true measure of all heroes is not what they achieve, but who they inspire." —Triumph of Gerrard
My general lack of music sort of leaves me unable to associate many songs/themes to any walker, but I do have a couple of them that I have themes for:
Garruk: "Tiki Tong G Minor" Donkey Kong Country Returns' final boss music, which has a nice wild tribal theme to it, corrupted into a darker, twisted version. Seems right for a certain Veilcursed monster of ours.
Tezzeret: "Mr. Roboto" by Styx. This one....don't ask. It just...exists in me for him. Usually with slightly altered lyrics to actually make sense in a Multiverse standpoint.
If I end up thinking of any more I'll just update my post.
