Thing is, that Blue is the most reaktive colour. It tries to disrupt the enemy and as such has a less defensive stance than white. I guess it's merely a matter of semantics.
It's, I think, more a difference in mechanics and conceptual aspects. Mechanically speaking, white is much more aggressive than blue, but flavorfully that isn't entirely true.
Firstly, that article is 10 years old and the color pie isn't static.
Secondly, while there are defensive aspects to white, both in flavor and mechanics, white is still exponentially more likely to have mechanically aggressive strategies than blue.

Yep Barinellos. Took the words right out of my mouth.
As for you Thoctar, I give up! I have provided you with multiple points of mechanical, flavorful and direct from the source evidence and you refuse to accept any of it. I have proven my point repeatedly, and other posters here have even provided more data and context and you refuse to accept it. It's a fallacy to disregard data simply because of its age, especially when the source of the writing is heavily involved in the color pie and the philosophies of the colors haven't changed in any significant way since that article's writing. In fact every other color pie article is built on the statements, ideas and concepts put forth in those first several. Your inability or unwillingness to accept presented facts means there is no point in continuing this discussion.
Returning to actual topic of the thread does anyone else have a kind of Walker they want to see?
Also, Barinellos I've got question. If we wanted to post something like the Planeswalker Bios on the Wizards page where would we be allowed to do that?
* Goblin Planeswalker. (And no, not Squee, he's not a planeswalker and doesn't need to be one.) Maybe a Boggart from Lorwyn could be the thrill-seeker the OP mentioned, it fits. Doesn't need to be a "goblins matter" card like Nissa's is to elves.
* Cool old guy, forest sage/monk/druid. Non-angry, non-arrogant mono-green 'walker.
I'd be excited to see either (or both!) of thse.
I tire of all the HE-MAN style Planeswalkers. Where's the wise old druid or elf for green? Or the mischief making red goblin trickster planeswalker? Those would be fun.
I'm sure it's been said, but I would rejoice upon seeing a Sphinx planeswalker.
I'd also like to see a group-hug Planeswalker and an Ooze planeswalker.
Also, Barinellos I've got question. If we wanted to post something like the Planeswalker Bios on the Wizards page where would we be allowed to do that?
What do you mean by that question?

If not, he might be asking a similar question that I asked, and be wondering where we could share our own little 3-4 paragraph bio-summary on planeswalkers of our own design, though I may be mistaken about that. Interesting idea though, I hadn't thought of using the same format as Wizards' Planeswalker page.

This is not the place to write up your own fanfic 'walkers. That should be done in Personal Writing (for background stories) or Custom Card Creation (for cards). The Storyline forum is for discussion of canon information only, not fanfiction. We really only tolerated this thread because it was speaking in generalities. Once you start actually creating things, it's time to move on.

Thank you for a second opinion on where we can post such content if we so please. While I may be the only one who may be interested in that sort of thing, the thread was made to discuss Planeswalker characters that haven't been explored. The thread just has been a good opportunity if any to ask how those who would like to explore these character concepts for themselves on the forums, with the very intention of keeping this thread doing what it was meant for on the forefront of any and all question(s) of that nature.

yep, I was asking for the appropriate place for fan fix like bios. Thank you very much for the info.
Good news, I will certainly be one to join in on that, and using that format for a Bio is a good idea. However, for the topic at hand, this is more of my own idea, but for an example, I would like to see Planeswalkers have a sort of mini-league thing and do other things like some kind of planar scavenger hunt challenge, or "hide and seek" challenges of finding each other throughout the multiverse.

I've been waffling on the idea of giving you guys a place for this, but that's mostly because it's not on this forum and I didn't want to seem like I was advertising.
There's a project elsewhere called the Magic: Expanded Multiverse. If you guys really want a place to develop characters, I could give you the link, but you'll have to message me.
Super vague, but I would love to see a Planeswalker(s) that has a distinct connection with a plane used only so far on Planechase. Just like the Segovian giant concept, Immersturm would be cool for example.

I never meant to say that my opinion was anything more than that.
The color pie is an ever changing thing, and as I see it, at present, while white has defensive elements, blue is the one whose philosophical mindset is most dependent upon defense.
I would love to have a colorless planeswalker too, possibly an epic Ugin walker, could be an awesome way to add a pre-mending walker, when they "save" Ugin somehow in Khans.
Also I would love for there to be a Temur (GRU) planeswalker in fate reforged, maybe some sort of Garruk/chandra fire and ice power variant. Possibly Arel maybe Ramaz.
And seeing How Nicol Bolas has his claws almost everywhere i can't beleive he won't send someone after Sarkhan to rein him in, if not to stop him from rescueing Bolas's rival Ugin. So far I know Tezzeret, Sarkhan and Ramaz are known agents of his, somehow Tezzeret just seems out of place on this non-artifice plane, Sarkhan has obviosly run away, so that leaves Ramaz which fits quite well with Temur. However Temur seems like the clan most likely to ally with Sarkhan. So probably Ramaz or a new walker could arrive on Bolas's orders.
And in the Storyline it is said that Narset, the Enlightened one (Jeskai [UWR] Khan) might possibly be holding a spark within her.
Original poster here in a different guise after I was never able to recover my original password. But yeah, looks like we got the colorless walker lots of people wanted. Now we just need an aven like many of us asked for. Also, on a side and kind of unrelated note, I like how there's only one new walker this set.
If I could be a planeswalker within the magic universe, it would be as a savant- an uneducated planeswalker
with a unique gift. Of creating the perfect illusion. Of creating one so real, that it would be real for a short
amount of time.
However, I wouldn't be just an ordinary guy who found out how to create illusions, but to be tied with another entity named Dream.
He might be a being I conjured up, a spirit who stuck with me for an unknown purpose which I'll find out later about, or maybe he could be a curse put upon me by the devil, or maybe it's somehow me, a darker more silent- but deadly version.
Either way, as the background goes for my planeswalker persona, Dream has been a big help and I've been learning alot, both from practicing and from Dream's reminders. He's not so much as a teacher as he is someone who follows me with his own agenda. We're not
always enemies, but we're friendly to each other for most of the time. Lastly, he's more like a machine
than a person from what I've gathered.
History
Theros Block
In the beginning, before everything that happened, did happen, I had many strange dreams over the course of a month that involved zombies and Innistrad. This never made much of an immediate impact on me, but it because of those dreams, my mind now feels dark, damp and full of dead things, very much similar to zombies.
The day I found out that I could planeswalk was during March/ April of 2014 where I ended up stuck inside
the world of Theros right after Elspeth defeated the hydra which lead her to being Heliod's champion.
Never did meet her, but I ran into Ashiok, the Nightmare Weaver who I realized that after he told me he
was looking for the ultimate nightmare was looking for me. Because within the perfect illusion as I had
discovered, was the capacity to turn whatever the user wanted into something horrifying. In this case,
if Ashiok ever got his hands on Dream, then likely even the Eldrazi would seem to be a minor issue.
In short, Dream is very much like the ultimate Illusion, because he is a physical manifestation of that
which I see or visualize.
As it was, I kept Ashiok from getting dream, but it ironically was Dream who did all of the work as I was
mostly mentally incapacitated. Never did fully recover from that fight but thankfully I've forgotten much
of what happened that night.
A little while later, I started traveling after Ajani and Elspeth after they started their journey into
Nyx. Didn't find out what happened to Elspeth until after Ajani came out. At the time we weren't friends,
and while I still don't think we are, I think we better understand each other.
For the time being, I'm staying away from Ashiok as far as possible and will do what I can to help both
Ajani and Elspeth as I know Heliod overstepped his bounds and his role in killing Elspeth.
More recently, while things unfolded on Tarkir with Sarkhan and Ugin, I would be focusing all of my
energy on taking down Nicol Bolas- aside from avoiding Ashiok. Knowing what it would take, I enlisted
the help of several others, who being impressed with my ability to conjure scenes and people so beautiful
that made them cry, namely one by the name of Krieg, the Psycho. He's a self-proclaimed baddass who can
take the head of just anyone. Apparently that's a title which he earned. He can't talk or thing straight,
but I was able to get enough out of him to understand that. This could come in handy against Bolas's
mind-shattering touch. I mean how can you break someone's mind when their mind and body works on two
different levels? Also found out that he's apparently someone with morals and someone who is important
who he lost a long time ago. Hates Hyperion personnel which I find amusing. Anyway, after seeing this guy
hit a freight train and derail the whole thing, kind of realized that I found everyone that I needed
in order to take down Bolas.
As I step out with my team on Zendikar for the 2nd time, my thoughts darken as I prepare to do something
that I've never done before. To kill Bolas. As we approach the bottom of the mountain where Bolas is at,
you can see Bolas looking down at us while Krieg is looking up at Bolas. He yells and lifts up his Buzz
Axe as the rest of us charge....
Funny enough I love playing with Bolas (both cards), and while I don't hate him, he stands for pretty much everything which puts him at the opposite end of the spectrum usually.
However, things would be similar to this but not exact. If I were a planeswalker, I would want to get to know and to befriend as many other Legendary creatures as possible- or to at least let me call upon them in time of need at least. There would be a handful that would be enemies or at least that would have a grudge against me.
Ajani- We're friends but we hold a longstanding grudge against each other.
Sarkhan- We're distant, but not unfriendly.
Sidisi- She uses people in a way that made me hate her initially. Currently we're working on our problems.
In the future, please use the edit feature instead of double posting.
Also, this is not the place for fanfiction or custom planeswalkers. The point of this thread is to suggest walker archetypes, color combinations, races, etc. that haven't been seen yet, or past characters who could show up in supplementary sets like Commander decks.
Again, this thread is not for your custom characters and fanfiction backstories. Custom cards belong in Custom Card Creation, and fanfiction belongs in Personal Writing.
Oh, well sorry then. The post at the beginning didn't specify so I took the liberty of copying and pasting what was on my notebook to here about the planeswalker that I'd like seen. Even if this isn't me. It would be awesome to have a planeswalker who does more with illusions than anyone else. Jace does mind tricks and Bolas can shatter your mind, while Ashiok... who knows. but either way, I'd like to see a guy who can conjure a car out of midair or something like that.
This whole post doesn't have to be about me you know. Just want someone who fits the bill.
Had an interesting thought after considering how Garruk is hunting down planeswalkers across the multiverse for sport. What if you had a planeswalking bounty hunter. Planeswalkers often cause plenty of havoc and we've already got Dak Fayden who styles himself as the greatest thief in the multiverse. What if you had a walker who's primary motivation was catching walkers who cause significant problems on various worlds and tracking them down to answer for the crimes they committed on whatever world? He or she could be of the belief that being a Walker gives one a specific duty to respect the rules of the plane of existence they arrive on and seeks to ensure that justice is meted out across the multiverse. A Planeswalking Judge Dredd type perhaps?
EDIT:
Also, a play on an idea from a ways back I'd kind of like the idea of a planeswalker teacher. The Multiverse is a dangerous place and I kind of like the idea of someone who made it their mission not to protect planes or stop world ending threats but to seek out and educate and train new walkers as they ascended. Maybe this character has the ability to sense the spark in others and even tries on a few occasions to hasten its activation and help people realize their full potential.
I like the Teacher Idea. Thier entire mission could be to search out, ignite and train new walkers. Tho I wonder if Ugin could fit this bill if Creative wanted him to?

It's, I think, more a difference in mechanics and conceptual aspects. Mechanically speaking, white is much more aggressive than blue, but flavorfully that isn't entirely true.
