Imoti not being from Amonkhet was a bit of a surprise to me.
Imoti really looks like she has Amonkhet dress, but the six arms (like a marilith) made it clear she is not from there. The Amonkhet naga have just two.

She is doing a pose that mimics a Hindu deity so I'd guess a Indian plane that more mythology based than Kaladesh was.
Overall, I appreciate that they do these little bios, but especially the info on new characters from unknown planes are a bit too bland and limited for my tastes. They probably do it this way to not write themselves into corners, but I still wish they'd include a few more specifics about their planes here and there.
Might also be an Arkhos/Mongseng deal where they don't wanna put in too much work on plane that might never make to a set.
That said they seem to be fleshing out a Rome planes slowly that be awesome to see fully fleshed out.

Aesi could still be from Kaldheim - maybe they just didn't mention it because the set isn't out yet. A mostly ocean-covered plane fits the Viking theme, and between the name in the flavor text and the pictures of the "Cosmo Serpent" miniature we have, it'd be weird if he was from another plane altogether (although I guess it's not impossible).

I agree that Aesi could still be from Kaldheim since seafaring is a major part of their culture. Imoti could still be from Amonkhet, since the lore didn't say she isn't. She might be from a distant past, before Bolas.
The wiki entry on Hans says he was killed alongside Saffi. Does anyone have a copy of Monsters of Magic to check the whole story?
I don't have the book, but from what I could gather from multiverse in review he was still alive.
"Saffi Eriksdotter and her brother Hans are Balduvians. We don't learn much about them, but Hans is too young to join hunting parties. The two are on guard duty when the lhurgoyf attacks. Saffi gets out her famous line before the creature eats her, Hans then runs screaming into their village."
"Now, as to Hans. He is a young barbarian at the time of the story. Too young for hunting parties, so he and his sister, Saffi are guarding the gate to the village when the Lhurgoyf attacks. Saffi loses her life in the story, but Hans survives to rush into town and warn the warriors gathered at the mead hall. When the Lhurgoyf attacks the hall, it devours several warriors during the attack, but Hans survives, for he has run to the back of the hall. The Lhurgoyf was after someone else and when it no longer smells its quarry in the hall, it leaves to pick up the scent again. The story moves away from the barbarian village at that point and we no longer see Hans in the story."
