I've been quite a fan of MTG's story for quite a while now. I think the first book I read was Onslaught or a set around that. Anyway, I've been playing/reading quite on and off for a couple of years now and the new Amonkhet block story sounds nice but. Thing is, I haven't read Kaladesh and have no plan to cause I don't quite like the feel of the set and fluff.
Is there some sort of spoilery tl;dr somewhere so I can be up to date with the important stuff going on in it without having to read stories for hours ?

You should read the stories. They're quite good.
Anyways, by episode:
1. Gatewatch is hanging out in Ravnica, get visited by vedalken planeswalker Dovin Baan, from Kaladesh, Chandra's home plane. Baan explains that some rebels are sabotaging the inventor's fair. Gatewatch explains they can't really help. Chandra gets ticked, thinking they're going to kill more renegades like her parents, talks to Nissa and Liliana, planeswalks with Lil to Kaladesh. Nissa decides to follow.
2. Elvish inventor Rashmi is trying to perfect her teleportation machine. Gets it to work, but breaks a part just before deadline for submissions. Appeals to her friend Saheeli (who's a planeswalker, unbeknownst to her) for help. Saheeli realizes the implication of the invention, and refuses, forming a rift in their friendship. Saheeli relents, helping her get into the fair.
3. Chandra and Liliana arrive on Kaladesh, start looking into clues for the renegades, cause problems. Happen on a renegade disturbance, follow a cloaked individual, who accosts someone. Cloaked individual turns out to be Tezzeret and the person he accosts- Chandra's mom, Pia.
4. Flashback episode where Pia is psychologically tortured by Baral, the warden in charge of capturing Chandra and murdering her husband Kiran. Eventually she gets out of jail and becomes "Renegade Prime". She sets off the disturbance in the previous episode, meets Tezzeret, sees Chandra alive, and elects to be taken prisoner rather than endangering her daughter. Gatewatch retreats, Liliana rattled because of Tezzeret's presence. Chandra and Nissa meet Oviya, a longtime friend of the Nalaars.
5. Yahenni, an aetherborn with just a month left to live, throws a party. Crashed by Oviya, Nissa, and Chandra, looking for info. Yahenni has none, but a Consulate guard then crashes the party looking for another aetherborn. Chandra and Nissa take care of the guard, and find out Pia's whereabouts. They leave. Yahenni visits the rogue atherborn, and watches as their life ends.
6. Chandra, Nissa, and Oviya march to the Dhund prison to find Pia, only for it to be a trap where they're to be gassed to death by Baral. Chandra refuses to leave Oviya, and Nissa elects to stay behind too, as the gas overtakes them.
7. Ajani is looking for Oviya, although trying to be as incognito as he can. Intermittent with flashbacks from a recent visit to Tamiyo, where he deals with Elspeth's death on Theros. Finds information about Oviya's whereabouts, and swoops in to rescue them.
8. Back on Ravnica, Jace finds out from Ral Zarek that Vraska has disappeared (setting up the events of Ixalan). Liliana drags him and Gideon to Kaladesh, since Tezzeret's presence calls for the Gatewatch's involvement. They join with Nissa, Chandra, and Ajani, and find out Pia's going to fight Tezzeret in the arena in a quicksmith competition. Tezzeret cheats, nearly kills Pia, only for the Gatewatch to intervene and drive him off. After, they discover the whole show was a decoy- all the Inventors Fair inventions have been confiscated while the attention was diverted.
9. Dovin Baan deals with the political mess the confiscation has made. Tezzeret takes several inventions and their inventors- namely Rashmi's teleportation device-- for his own, and tells Baan he can inspect the rest, but the Gatewatch needs to be defeated.
10. First Aether Revolt Story. Yahenni wanders the streets on the verge of death, looking for someone to be with. Finds a friend under attack by the Consulate, who have cracked down on the city with a curfew. Yahenni kills the attackers, granting themselves two more weeks of life due to siphoning energy. Yahenni contacts crime lord Gonti, who leads them to knowledge of the Gatewatch's location, where they manage to barely escape a trap.
11. Gatewatch deal with some Consulate attacks, then find out where Rashmi and Tezzeret are. Liliana and Saheeli go to confront Tezzeret, while the rest of the Gatewatch elect to help the rebellion create a big diversion.
12. Rashmi works to perfect her teleportation device under the watchful, and abusive, eye of Tezzeret. All the other inventors are exiled from the tower, leaving her to complete it, under threats of her friends being hurt. Rashmi learns of the existence of other worlds, and surmizes Tezzerets intent, and elects to sabotage the portal. She escapes in the confusion, and is picked up by Liliana and Saheeli- and realizes just what her friend is.
13. Chandra's attempts to inspire revolution fail miserably, but attract Gonti's attention, who works out a deal with Pia. The rebels attack the Aether Hub, easily overcoming the defenses and forcing the surrender. Corrupt Consul of Allocation Kambul barely escapes. Rashmi is revealed to be working on a new invention- the Heart of Kiran, a ship designed to bring down the planar portal.
14. Aboard the Consuls flagship Skysovereign, Baan formulates a plan to retake the Aether Hub- Tezzeret approves, but has Baral join the attack in an effort to draw out the Nalaars. It works on Chandra, who goes after Baral, while Nissa goes after her, and saves her. The rest of the Gatewatch take down a couple Gearhulks, but go too far out and leave themselves open for an aerial attack on the Hub. As the Renegades flee the Hub in a panic, Baral taunts Chandra over her failure to protect anyone. After an intervening Oviya is knocked out and nearly killed, Chandra elects to kill herself using a massive firespell that might level all of Ghirapur. She's stopped by Nissa, who refuses to let her explode, and talks her out of her rage. Nissa then has an elemental punch Baral, and retreats with Chandra. Dovin Baan arrives, and hearing Baral's admission of crimes in his taunts to Chandra, promptly arrests Baral.
15. The Rebels are prepared to attack the Aether SPire and Tezzeret, but Skysovereign prevents them from mounting an offense. Jace works with the sky pirate Kari Zev to bring the ship down. When Jace's illusions fail, Zev manages to get a Skywhale to kamikaze the ship, knocking it out of action (the whale's totally fine).
16. With Skysovereign down, the attack begins, but Dovin Baan sabotages the Heart of Kiran before it can attack the aetherspire. Elsewhere, the Rebels successfully take out the Aether cannons, thanks to letting a bunch of gremlins loose on the consulate artifacts. Back on the Heart, Chandra devises a plan- to fly herself into the planar portal and use her own body as a bomb.
17. Liliana goes after Tezzeret on her own, and the two fight. Liliana wins, and pins Tezzeret, and Tezzeret reveals that Bolas is ordering him, and he's on a plane called Amonkhet- where Lil's third demon is. Chandra, with Gideon's invincibility protecting her, kamikazes the portal, destroying it. Everyone lives, but Tezzeret makes off with the core of the portal.
18. A peace is declared, with the Consulate staying in place, but making a ton of concessions to the rebels, not the least of Pia becoming the new Consul of Allocation. Baral is locked away in jail, and his attempts to get Chandra to kill him in rage end in failure. Ajani joins the Gatewatch, but immediately disagrees with the other five's plans to directly attack Bolas on Amonkhet, instead electing to seek allies elsewhere. Yahenni's time runs out, and they throw their final party, during which Nissa reveals the existence of the multiverse and other planes. Yahenni dies satisfied, knowing they're part of what makes the multiverse work. Chandra and Pia come to grips with their lost years, and the fact that Chandra no longer belongs solely on Kaladesh. Nissa tries to teach Chandra meditation again, but Chandra falls asleep. Nissa herself meditates, and witnesses an Aetherborn coming into being, welcoming it to the world.
