Need more Angrath, how he feels loyal towards other planeswalker (or know they would be enticed to help him for the same reason), and so casually speak about killing everyone else. I mean, did he even realize that he might baffle the other person or does he believe everyone has hidden desire for violence?
Reasonably Angrath could simply assume that any planeswalker would be a foreigner like him, so killing everyone who gets in their way wouldn't be nearly as insane sounding.
He could have seen Hultai fighting with Iace, Vraska, and Vona and heard Hultai swear at the merfolk for leaving her, so he could reasonably assume that Hultai would be on board killing them.

MtG is where you can hate white players or black players, and still not be racist.
I feel like we're still missing some puzzle pieces, whatever is happening here. There's a lot of clues as to what is going on behind the scenes, but nothing to clinch it.
I like that the writers temporarily toyed with us that Ixalan's binding symbol was related to Azor I. Either that was a purposeful red herring given the similarities or they're being blatant with their links. They even hinted at Niv Mizzet being the flying thing. I think it's definitely to push us off the Ugin theory.
What? When did they hint at Niv-Mizzet being the winged beast?

I just meant the gentle nod towards his statue in Jace's dream.
"She wore a blue cloak and hood, and lay on the central dais of the Forum of Azor. Niv-Mizzet, the parun of the Izzet, was looking down at her"
Just seemed interesting they'd mention him by name and no one else. I just felt like this was subtle attempt to throw us off.

I am not even sure the Puzzle of the Sun is the main attraction now, we have 4 different teams about to jump into the hidden temple.

That was just Jace's memory during the climax of Dragon's Maze when he became the Living Guildpact. Vraska realises it herself two lines later.
“Spectacular, she thought to herself, the murder monster wants to be my friend.”
And
Jace put a hand to his chin in thought. "It might also just be a hunk of rock. And not do anything. Maybe Lord Nicolas is a rock collector?"
"I honestly wouldn't put it past him," Vraska shrugged. "He strikes me as a man with weird hobbies."
I’m mentally imagining Nicol Bolas nesting around a display table with lots of rare rocks and fossils
“Nice rocks, Prretty rocks!”
Lol
Just think of what other random bits of knowledge he might have stored in his head from nerding out over different topics for millennia. I honestly wouldn't put it past Bolas to be a massive musical theatre fan with an encyclopedic knowledge of multi-planar musicals.
The more I mull over this story, the more I wish Angrath will have bigger role in the future, even joining the heroes' side in a way.
Don't get me wrong. I can see he's a violent minotaur and might have committed plenty of murders out of frustration of being trapped in Ixalan. However, his latest interaction with Huatli gives me the impression that he's just an immature brat who discovered his planeswalking gift too early in his life (I would be absolutely delighted if he were revealed to be just a teen), and his rampage in Ixalan is like a superpowered teenager who's lashing out at being grounded. And since he gives off the vibe of an immature brat, I'm suspecting that he has been traveling a lot as a planewalker, and thus extremely unhappy when Ixalan stops him from traversing anywhere further.
That, and I can't stop laughing at his interaction with Huatli.
Also, I wonder how hilarious it might be if he indeed were from Theros and ends up meeting Vraska.
"Gorgon? But you have feet!"
Of course, since he's not a member of Jace or anyone related to the Gatewatch, I fear his fate has been sealed as a mere footnote in Ixalan story to be killed off, revealed to be Bolas' pawn, or worse. *sigh*

Ive been thinking a similar thing, to me Angrath doesn't seem like "evil" but like you said throwing a temper tantrum. I don't see him joining the ggatewatch but I can see him being an chaotic force that can be a friend or foe depending on how much your getting in their way.

Agreed. He seems like the sort that wont care about the Gatewatch and their multiversal battle against Bolas. He has his own thing and if your goals happen to align with his he'll help but if you get in his way he'll ghost rider your ass.
-The Vampires. I know they’re supposed to be bastards, but the Players’ Guide painted them as more nuanced then this. The “vampirism as noble sacrifice” is an interesting angle on the subject, but it’s utterly drowned out by the ravening, psychopathic lunacy we see on display in these stories. We don’t see any dimension of nobility, honor, or human complexity here—in the end, all we’re given are two-bit religious fanatics.
What makes this just unbearable is that with the way they write the vampires the Sun Empire are obviously supposed to be the "good guys." but..I can't help but want the vampires to win and eat them all, the Sun Empire and the Vamps are just terribly written.
Whoa, what happened to my previous post? It's gone. Was it in violation of some rule? Was it too long or something? I received no notice as to why it's suddenly gone.

My internet connection died and then I had things to take care of, I apologize for the no notice. It was moved. I was going to post this as well:
