I'm pretty sure everyone seen the card Time Walk before. What is it depicting?
As far as I know, that was a time in which Magic didn't have such strict guidelines for its art and definitely not much of any kind of flavor (see Stasis as another example for abstract, nonflavorful artwork on a card from that time period). So I don't think it really depicts anything related to the story at all...
Good lord this art has always been heavily surrealist to me. But yeah, a lot of old art never really made any sense. But if you want to try to get artsy about it you could say the art conveys man's inexorable march towards death as time ebbs on.

Good lord this art has always been heavily surrealist to me. But yeah, a lot of old art never really made any sense. But if you want to try to get artsy about it you could say the art conveys man's inexorable march towards death as time ebbs on.
That's the impression I got too. That as time goes on, humanity loses more of its flesh (the personification of "time" in the art) until the bare skeleton of death is left.
It's from the golden days of Magic art, when a lot of cards were actually quite abstract and conveyed a concept or idea rather than a straight-in-your-face depiction. I already loved Amy Weber at the time, with her constant mix of time/mechanical/skeleton symbolism.
So Time Walk lets you imagine. For me, these skeletons with clocks instead of faces, walking down a path bordered by sundials, would cross the arch and come back endlessly at the beginning of the path, to illustrate the endless march of time.
Stasis is basically a more silly version of the usual Blue control spell. Some denying someone else's action... said people being a clown and an anthro fox.
What, you're telling me you've never taken off your skin to go for a casual time-stroll?
