Edit: "I see that together we're more powerful than we are alone. If that means I can do what needs to be done without relying on the Chain Veil, then I'll keep watch. Happy now?" ~Liliana Vess
Hijacking the thread. This is now the Innistrad Art Book Thread.
Well if that's real my preferred ending for this story will become true: Emrakul sealed in the moon as a last ditch effort (and no doubt Tamiyos research on it will be improtant to do that too) and Liliana taking the oath out of her own selfish reasons (and with a smug grin about it too, love it :D)
From what others have said, Nahiri encases Sorin in stone.
What others, where?
But I have a suspicion that Sorin is not gonna survive this block, this would be kind of fitting conclusion. Not that Wizards actually know what to do with his character anyway.

They need to clear the BW planeswalker space for the inevitable Zombie Elspeth.
Cool find, though it basically confirms what we suspected.
...and they called it a detective story.
It's wrong for a detective story to go against what you suspect? I'm not saying it can't be harder but you can't have a story where the clues are all red herrings.
Greeeaaaaat. Oath of Liliana. The Gatewatch save the day by carving an enormous version of the OGW glyph on the moon and sucking Emrakul into it. Yippidy-skippidy.

I'm trying not to be salty, because this story is so hilarious, stupid and fun in the same way.
And you know, that artwork where Nissa jumps to attack ancient, town-sized cosmic abomination with a javelin... It reminds me of something.

Your first thought is an anime and not Herman Melville's Moby Dick? Someone's English's teacher seriously dropped the ball.
Of course it's Moby Dick reference, but colossal whale has not so much common with Emrakul. Angel, in other hand...
Arlinn Kord teams up with the vampires dealing with the threats in the woods.
Thalia is also there with her order and they all seem to be able to use the power of the geists of slain cathar to help the gatewatch repel the eldrazi.
Sigarda and her horde of humans try to stop Brisela and her horde of eldrazi angels. Sigarda wins when Brisela tries to meld with her and she strikes from within.
Sorin (along with Olivia) and Nahiri have their fight in the Markov Mannor.
Nahiri tells him he has to sacrifice himself like she did on Zendikar. Sorin thinks that Innistrad is beyond salvation and that he is there to end her once and for all before leaving for good. Nahiri gets upset over his reaction and uses her full power to battle him, Sorin wins in the end.
However Olivia gets mad when she realises Sorin has no intention of trying to get rid of Emrakul and turns on him to make him go along with Nahiri's "die for Innistrad" plan.
When Sorin is about to kill Nahiri, Olivia decides to stop him so Nahiri can use her power again to send Emrakul elsewhere, but Sorin kills Olivia instead.
In the confusion Nahiri takes the chance and seals him into a stone prison saying that he has no other choice now but to stay and die with his plane.
Nahiri planeswalks away after she locks Sorin and before emrakul is trapped, with a creepy smile on her face. And there's some hints at her being mentally unstable, as she talks with herself asking where she'd like to go now...

The Gatewatch seals Emrakul in the moon.
Thanks for the spoilers. Sad for Olivia's fate. Could I ask you for more clarifications?
Does Sorin die, or is he just imprisoned?
Does Sigarda survive the ordeal? Does she become a new guardian of Innistrad? Is there a new order with the gryff/heron symbolics seen on Borrowed Malevolence?
Do we know anything about Arlinn's further fate?
How does Liliana's zombies factor into this all? Why is the the "last hope"?
Any mention of Hanweir?

I am glad that Tamiyo survived, otherwise Jenrik would probably finally snap and transform into an eldritch monstrosity and began eating other members here...
Hoenstly neither him or Nahirir deserves been defended at this point, both suck on their own way.
Well, he lost whatever sympathy (and white-ness) he had left when he basically forsook Innistrad, saying it is beyond help, and went only for revenge on her.
STORYLINE SPOILERS found in the Artbook:
In the confusion Nahiri takes the chance and seals him into a stone prison saying that he has no other choice now but to stay and die with his plane.
Nahiri planeswalks away after she locks Sorin and before emrakul is trapped, with a creepy smile on her face.
So we just need Ugin to turn up with a chisel? That sounds doable.
*ETA: Actually, seeing as Sorin freed Ugin from *his* stone sarcophagus, there'd be a neat symmetry there.
Or... Sorin could just planeswalk out of the stone? Definitely need to wait for more details on this one.

Only that Ugin's cocoon was basically a product of his own rudimentary lithomancy. This will be a work of a master lithomancer, most probably possible to be opened by her only, and since it says he would have no option than to stay and die with his world, I'd dare to say she made it walking-proof.
This way, they would not kill Sorin off and would have him stored for future threats...

Sigarda and her angels, The Host of Herons (GW)
Talia and the Order of St. Traft(UW) taking over in place of Flight Alabaster
Arlinn and her werewolves as Pack Goldnight(RW).

He lost that when he killed Avacyn.
Even that act could be perceived as protecting Innistrad (from her madness). But now he went off the deep end.

Nahiri's instability and Sorin's own lack of humanity is from their all powerfullness since human 'walkers tended to go insane after a while from that power and become disconnected to reality. Only really Ugin has dealt with this to any degree as a "person" but they all took a "large world view" rather than a small world view of the people around them.
It irritates me though that they killed off Olivia, Bruna, and Gisela.
Nahiri is basically their new Boros 'walker for the time being, and I think with her popularity she will probably be around for a while. The unresolved storyline right now is Sorin, Nahiri, and Ugin along with the consequences for killing Umalog and Kozilek.
The allusion to the older storyline with Urza and Serra's Sanctum is pretty straight forwards, they revisited the disconnectedness and inhumanity and madness within the various old 'walkers. Urza particularly was big picture focused and was not a nice person. Sorin is selfish, while Nahiri has been warped and lost her humanity. Her defining trait will be finding her personality, Sorin will have to find his less selfish side and learn empathy.
I feel that Ugin right now is basically Yoda while Nicol Bolas is the Emperor. That's where the storyline is going next when we see Tarkir again and bringing together all the smaller storylines into what is Bolas doing along with the Legion of Doom/Consortium coming back.
We need more specifics, but it sounds like Nahiri's endgame was in fact to seal Emrakul and force Sorin to watch over the plane (that's what I got from the Olivia/Sorin/Nahiri fight description).
They need to clear the BW planeswalker space for the inevitable Zombie Elspeth.
Why do people keep thinking this is a thing? We have three living RG planeswalkers, two BG, UR and UB walkers. Why would Sorin need to go away to introduce another BW walker?
The spoiler giver didn't specifically say that she's with her angels, so I bet most of Sigarda's troops are all human (unless all Host of Herons angels share the same imuneness to the maddening that Sigarda has)
- I actually don't mind if ever Tamiyo does not join the Jacetice League, as I'm seeing her as not really the type to join.
I think Liliana's membership isn't as stable as the first who joined in.
- A bit sad of how Olivia ended up going off, she was fun in this block... Like, I enjoyed her more than the Neowalkers that are not Tamiyo, I'm sipping some tea over Sorin's banishment to the "Walker Limbo" though. :3
- Another "oldwalker" turned crazy. Sheesh, Creative, you're on a roll with this smear campaign!

I find it ironic that Nahiri would grow unstable while Ob's mind is preserved thanks to her hedron. Or maybe it's an unchecked Emrakul's influence. Can't wait to see their showdown, and/or Nahiri vs Ugin. Wish Olivia survived though :\

A small consolation for Jenrik - Tamiyo survives
