This is bound to happen. the premises of DTK are fallacious. Humans have a self-assuming nature and don't work under "masters", a world in which humans are ignorant pawns of dragon overlords makes no sense. Sooner or later, an elite will foment some rebellion and overthrow their oppressors.
I agree that people do tend to overthrow their oppressors eventually (though certainly not always) I'm not sure how you think real world history applies here at all. Its hard to fight for civil rights against creatures that consider you to be food, especially when they're highly intelligent, dozens of times your size, and can kill you as easily as look at you. The best they can hope for is a more equitable detente than the current one.
Well there are of course no real world examples. But any beginner anthropologist would probably agree that humans always formed civilizations and are alpha predators wherever they live. In the hypothetical world of Tarkir, it wouldn't take long for established societies to naturally long for complete independence from the rule of ancient beasts.
Sarkhan saving Ugin was necessary for fighting the Eldrazi... so we were led to believe, until Gatewatch took over.
In all fairness, without Ugin, Jace wouldn't have known the shape of the glyph required to pull the Eldrazi into physical space. So even if Ugin wasn't directly involved in killing the titans, he still needed to be revived, if Zendikar was to be saved.
Timey whimsy stuff, everything has a ripple effect and we can even see how Ugin living changes the whole timeline. Without Ugin, Jace won't have known the glyph, the knowledge of who Sorin is, "they came as three" and the fact the eldrazi are all one "thing". Without that knowledge Zendikar falls. Jace would also not have gone to Innistrad so who knows what Liliana might have done after Emrakul fully arrived and she peaced out. Ob may or may not have gotten his spark back and might have died on Zendikar. Gideon, Nissa, Chandra and Jace might have died which has other effects like Jace being the living guildpact, but with out Ugin the Gatewatch won't have formed. So anything the Gatewatch does from now on is because of Ugin living.

Well there are of course no real world examples. But any beginner anthropologist would probably agree that humans always formed civilizations and are alpha predators wherever they live.
I'd argue that a lack of dragons is a big part of what makes that possible.
I hope to see Sarkhan become Dragonlord or Dragonmaster after Narset convinces him of the truth that Dragons and other species must exist as equals if Tarkir is to be as it should.
Ironically, while Sarkhan reveres dragons, he may be the greatest threat to the dragonlords, being Temur-coloured and remembering khans. The idea of a human transforming ("ascending") into one of their kind will likely be a grave insult to the dragons. That said, I think it will be strange for Narset to be the one to spark a rebellion, since IMO Ojutai spared Narset because he trusted her to not threaten him, outwardly exiling her to keep power-hungry people like Taigam in check. Ugin though may have opinions on new Tarkir.
I am 110% certain that the sequel to Tarkir will feature the clans recovering their 3 color roots and fighting against the dragon overlords.
The text and stories of dragons routinely hint at the clans maintaining traces of their heritage in secret, and there is no point in Wizards naming the colors combos if they were about to be permanently undone by dragons. Half the point of naming a color combo is to have something to call the combo in discussion.
I hope to see Sarkhan become Dragonlord or Dragonmaster after Narset convinces him of the truth that Dragons and other species must exist as equals if Tarkir is to be as it should.
I was kind of hoping Ugin would chew him out a little on how unbalanced the world had become in favor of the dragons, though he might still be studying the world and how things are changing after his long absence so that can still happen.
It will be interesting when a dragon asks him his name as it means Khan of Khans. Seeing as all the dragon lords, especially the W aligned ones, want to kill anybody on any mention of the word. I just think it would be really funny for all the dragons to start attacking him due to his name.
Sarkhan becoming the Most Wanted on Tarkir would be a fun twist to introduce the return.
Using actual history lends a touch of believability that gives the fun and fantastic elements like the dragonlords, their oppression etc a solid basis from which Creative can go wild. Case in point, the Dragonlords are just like the barbarians we remember in history - they haven't come to destroy civilization; they've come to reap the rewards and luxuries of civilization.

I was hoping for an lecture as well. Ugin was the origin of dragons on Tarkir, but he taught human Morph magic to handle dragons, his intent has always been balance, never the extreme (he also voted against killing two Eldrazi Titans due to unknown consequences to it). Sarkhan believes that Human costs their true potential without the dragons, which is half true, because in his mind the so-called true human potential only blossoms while serving the dragons.
Both Sarkhan and Narset knows the true history of Tarkir, one supports the new timeline one 'might' vote against it. This is a good opportunity for the two personalities to clash, rather than walk away hand in hand. If more people know about their tradition, such as Anafenza's brother after her death, more events will come.

I don't remember them being specifically taught.
It is in stated in Khanfall;
"The Jeskai will not aid any effort to kill the Spirit Dragon," said Shu Yun. "Ugin has always sought balance. Are your memories so short? He gave us concealment magic, the last time the dragons seemed to be gaining the upper hand. He values the dragons and the clans alike. If he were well, this would not be happening."

Everything is about the need to keep/restore the "balance", the asian concept of Yin and Yang.
From Shun Yun, khan of the Jeskai, in the Fate Reforged Story
Although they seem at odds, the clans live in subtle harmony. The Abzan promote stability and trade, patrolling the roadways. The Mardu range far and wide, killing dragons that might otherwise grow to menace the other clans. The Temur are hardy folk with deep spiritual roots, and their shamans warn the other clans of dangera lurking unseen. Even the Sultai, untrustworthy although they may be, keep the pests and horrors of the swamplands under control. And the Jeskai, above the rest in their mountain monastaries, serve as Tarkir's memory, keeping records of the tales, secrets and truths that might otherwise pass into the tumult of history.
Then in the Khan of Tarkir timeline, here is a quote from Narset;
This world is in pain. You feel it, don't you? For centuries the clans have fought. When the dragons lived, we struggled for survival against them. But when the last dragon fell, we turned on each other. What balance was struck in our mutual fight was lost long ago. Now even our quiet strongholds kbow the shout of war. The Abzan leave their sturdy fortresses to seek enemies on the steppe. The Sultai send forth armies of the dishonored deaf. Even the hardy Temur descend from their mountain. And over every land, the Mardu ride, and raid, and ruin. We have lost our way. I fear soon the clabs too will be only bones in the wilderness, gnawed by wild beasts. All that we have built will crumble away until even the past is gone.
