Maro hates the term ''Jacetus League''? Good! Great! Maybe he finally gets the hint and jace gets removed from the story.
People are displeased when you forcefully shove a character down their throats. ''This one planeswalker had the most
expensive card and people played him in every deck which 100% means that people love that character! Quickly, we must
shove Jace wherever we can!''
It's not even remotely his call though. While I may not especially like Jace (don't dislike him, but there are other Planeswalkers I prefer and I generally prefer cycling through different things), it's really unfair to lay the blame at his feet. It's much higher up that would need to be changed, and they have no reason to do that. Whether or not their is an undercurrent of dislike towards Jace doesn't change the fact that there are enough that Wizards sees him as a good thing.
You (the collective you; this isn't aimed at any particular person) also need to realize that just because *you* hate Jace, that doesn't mean *everyone* hates Jace.

I love Jace.
Seconded. I love Jace's sarcastic voice and his obvious social ineptitude.
Also Jace is consistently the most popular planeswalker in market research, both in lore and in cards.
Gotta say, I used to think Jace was terrible and then I started reading the stories. Now I know he's terrible, but he's terrible like an inept and overconfident little brother or something so I'm more okay with him than I was.

“Tell me who you walk with, and I'll tell you who you are.” Esmeralda Santiago Art is life itself.
I personally like Jace. He's not really my favorite walker, but he is certainly not my least favorite. That award goes to Kiora, which I'm pretty sure is the creative team's goal. I think a lot of people hate Jace just because of his high exposure, and as a reaction to him consistently polling as the most popular character. He's visible, so he makes a good target for everyone's general discontent with Wizard's story choices.

I think I like insane Innistrad Jace more than any other version of him so far. I'm pretty ambivalent towards him overall, but I've actually grown to quite like him as a character during SoI. Be great if when EMN is all over he actually retains some of that madness lingering at the edges of his mind, and we see what effect a slightly insane Living Guildpact might mean for Ravnica...
As for the 'Jacetice League' thing; meh - it's a thing, it's no big deal. I don't think Maro needs to get too upset about it.

I really like Kiora, honestly. I don't know if I actually have a significantly least favorite walker right now.

You know who is the most fun to tease? The person who has a hissy about it. If Maro hates the term, the worst thing he could do is to make a big deal out of it.
My least favourite currently is by far and away Gideon. My current favourite of the team is Chandra, but even that's just in a "The best of a bad bunch" sort of way. Favourite planeswalker in general would be Ajani.
Superman has flaws. Jace has flaws. Suggesting Jace is a Mary Sue or a bad character is so egregiously incorrect it makes me almost agree with MaRo on this.
Well yes, that is correct.
Superman, though, at least has the benefit of being an ideal. Jace is very close to being wishfulfillment.
Superman has real flaws, watch season 1 Lois and Clark for them.
He is always does the 'right' Morally correct decision regardless of consequence. But he doubts himself afterward.
He often struggled with his identity and perception. As SuperMAN sees himself as a MAN with Great Power comes Great Responsibility. As everyone else sees him as as the ideal he struggles to match it.
Superman always does the right thing but he sometimes fail to see consequences of his action. The real supes would never let Pa Kent die, in man of steel, what would have happened he'd reveal his identity.
Superman struggles with who he is, such as Kent vs Superman, who is real one? Kryptonian vs American which one does he belong to.
Chandra has not developed. WotC is aware she's a caricature of Red's flighty and worst aspects ("What's your plan?" "Are you serious?"). Garruk is a planeswalker who has developed. Ajani is a planeswalker who has developed. Sarkhan is a planeswalker who has developed. (On a related note, Nissa is a planeswalker who has been ruined. Utterly, totally ruined by that retcon.)
Thus far, the Gatewatch is very vanilla, has given us NO reason to presume they are in danger at any given point due to how plot armor has protected them at every corner, and how they have had little to no development.

Kiora's biggest problem is that she is completelyU/R in her personality, action and outlook. There is genuinely no reason for her to be Green (leviathans are wholly Blue).

...Green/Blue's greatest weakness: its inability to stop what its doing. Green/Blue is so focused in its goal that it often cannot see the forest for the trees. Things that might seem obvious to anyone with some perspective are ignored by Green/Blue. As far as Green/Blue is concerned, the others don't understand what it's up to and it doesn't have the time to explain.
This sum up Kiora more rash actions during BfZ.

Perhaps Chandra will visit Kaladesh and get a swift kick of development in the character?
I agree. Chandra has potential, as shown by the few post-Origins short stories she got, but she hasn't had a lot of spotlight like Jace or Gideon, so she looks undeveloped by comparison.

Green is also rash. Kiora's main problem, however, is tunnel-vision, which is a Blue thing.
I'm beating that CHandra, liliana and Gideon are going to Karladesh find a way to deal with The Chain Veil and mgiht be a good time for more bonding between the group and with tthat more character development
Let people call it what they want, banning it is pure censorship because theres nothing offensive about it other then a parody. Seriouslly people bothered by needs a thicker skin and ignore the people that call it Jacetus League
My big problem is that I named my son Jace. The name was already on our list. Then I pulled a foil J:TMS from a world wake pack so we went with it. At the time the name and the character seemed cool. Now five and a half years later, I sorta regret my decision. Of course most people don't know about magic. Just hope later on he doesn't get the nickname "cloak boy"

Fortunately, Jace is not exclusive to Magic (I've met other Jaces). But in general, one should be wary about naming their children after fictional characters. There was a guy who named his son Anakin after RotJ, and his son got the hell mocked out of him in school when Phantom Menace dropped.
Well you can definitely can't make it that obvious with certain names.
Jace was already on the list for non MTG reasons along with others. We were having trouble picking from the list. Took pulling him as a 'sign Geez. Where did that old list go...? Oh well.
I myself find his character lacking, erratic and shoved in our face now to the point like others, you start getting tired of it. The whole 'gatewatch' thing I am not a fan of anyway. Too linear and seems to restrict development and new characters. Its like these are the five people, deal with it. They are going to find a problem, band together, be victorious.

Except that we've already been told that all five aren't supposed to be in every block. Obviously dealing with an Eldrazi is a bigger deal than something smaller, until we start seeing them band together for small stuff it's hard to say that it's an issue.
Also not sure we can say it restricts new characters yet either. If anything we've gotten quite a few new characters effectively, as Ob Nixilis, Nahiri, and Tamiyo were basically footnotes prior to these last two blocks, which really established them as something more tangible. Arlinn didn't get much focus though, but I think it's really premature to say that the Gatewatch is hindering new characters.
I personally can't wait for this whole power ranger thing to end. The gate watch has appeared bland from start to hopefully near finish, the majority of the focus going towards Jace. Majority of the characters don't seem interesting to me alone let alone when banded together. The original A Team for the eldrazi seemed a lot "cooler" then now. An ancient vampire, nerd girl and a damn dragon on the same team?! That was something.
of all the planeswalkers actually, I'd list he majority of the power rangers boring characters.

Those characters would still be footnotes if not for a large fan base for each. Ob Nixilis is the embodiment of that.

If you are talking about how she acted during BfZ read this from Maros article on green/blue (written long before Kiora was a thought):
