It looks like Jace and Tami got pretty roughed up. While this could be Sorin's doing I think it was Avycen's doing with Sorin timely intervening.
Jace and Tami look shell-shocked. Theyve done their homework so I think they know of Sorin, his power.
Tami's presence here highlights her previous absence. Did Avycen's kidnap her? Did Jace intervene? Did they both get stomped on and were saved by Sorin (who wouldn't care for them as much as he'd be disgusted by the madness of his creation.
They look like they've been through something arduous (Jace moreso than Tamiyo) but probably not a fight since neither of them are much for combat. Perhaps an incredibly difficult spell? I'd guess that where ever they are Tamiyo has been there a while.
I'm choosing to believe this is representing a battered Jace being supported by Tamiyo walking in on Sorin as he begins to destroy Avacyn and stopping him because they've figured out the cause of her madness and that the big bad isn't her, but is really... DUN DUN DUN *cue EMN*

It is Tibalt, isn't it?
For some reason made me think of this, just replace Nosferatu with Tibalt making an "oops, you caught me!" awkward shrug.

They didn't care that he was the savior of Fort Keff, the great hunter of Ondu, the champion of Kabira. To them, he was just another piece of flesh, a thing with life to be drained away.
Sorin could have made a failsafe that would allow him to kill or stop Avacyn if anything ever goes wrong with her. That is clever thinking.
However I guess that Sorin is far more powerful than any known neo walker. He is the second oldest planeswalker that we currently know of with
thousands upon thousands of years of experience. With that experience comes power. Look at Ugin for example. Just because he lost his oldwalker
power, Ugin is still hinted to being extremely powerful and possibly more powerful than the gatewatch. Hell, Nicol Bolas lost a lot of his power
and Kruphix still claims that Bolas is more powerful than all of Theros gods combined.
The fail safe theory is a very plausible possibility. But I wasn't saying that because I don't think Sorin is powerful, I do believe he might the third strongest neowalker we've seen (Nicol Bolas and Ugin being stronger), but the fact is he could create a construct that would be easily much more powerful than him now back when he was an Oldwalker. If oldwalkers were as busted as Bolas keeps claiming they were, then imagine Sorin created Avacyn using 50% of his power at the time. 50% of busted is still pretty busted, and maybe even with all the years of training and experience he wouldn't be able to catch up in power level (Bolas keeps saying he is much less powerful than he was, and Bolas certainly has more resources/experience than Sorin to try and recover his original power).
Brady in the old wizard forums said Sorin had some way to influence her/reprogram her so I'm guessing he also built in a fail safe as well. Granted this is from Brady behind the scenes so it might not be in their world bible anymore.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
That would not surprise me in the least because the Tumblr community has been at work, and dug up stories that lead to a reasonable conclusion that Avacyn is possessed. Tibalt's ultimate is Insurrection, so it's not a leap that this entire mess is within his powers because he has the power to cause an insurrection with the angels (pun intended). From what I heard, can't remember where, one of Tibalt the card's failings was it underrepresented Tibalt the story character.
So....no one is gonna ask about Jace and Tami's presence?
Fine. I will.

Tami is a Soratami from Kamigawa. How has she been hiding this from the Inistradi? Illusion? How would AVACYN understand her presence?
Finally, will Sorin blame the Planeswalker researchers as interlopers or connect the events with Nahiri?
Whoa, I'd noticed the change in her eyes (and skin tone, made apparent by her opposite side being skin tone white as opposed to literally white as the Purifier), but I didn't think much of it and just thought it was another way to make her look more evil (and to match the promotional art of the face behind Jace...), but I didn't realize the connection to what happened to the Cathar's wife as she became possessed by Ormendahl. I think that cracks this wide open and ties things together quite nicely.

The cards spoiled today on the Mothership make it harder and harder to believe that Emrakul is not on the plane. I really hope they are just red herrings.

So in the SOI Trailer I noticed at about 0:58 it looked like perhaps the madness of the plane affected someone wearing a hood...possibly Jace? This would also explain why he looks so beat up, maybe just recovering from it.

"Play to have fun, it's a game."
"I do have fun. Winning is fun."
Given the clues given so far, I have a feeling that Emrakul is indeed coming, or LURED by Nahiri with her ritual. After all, a card indicated that her work is to congregate mana to a point, and we all know Eldrazis are attracted to high concentration of mana. It suits her 'revenge', per se, consider she wants Innistrad to suffer the same way Zendikar did.
Another user on this site suggested that Nahiri is pulling the moon to Innistrad, which is a symbol associates with madness. That, and the next expansion is called Eldritch Moon, and if Emrakul is there, we can expect more madness coming.
If Avacyn is dead, and nothing stays dead on Innistrad, what do we get?

I saw a theory somewhere that Emrakul doesn't go right into Innistrad but passes over it. So maybe the ifght becomes convincing them to go snack on something else while they find a way to defeat it.
I love me some eldrazi, especially if they got more of a Lovecraft, cosmic horror feel then they've ever been given up to this point, but I'd much prefer it be some new multiversal threat. The Gatewatch Rogue's Gallery is currently Bolas, Phyrexia, Ob Nixilis, and the Eldrazi Titans Titan. I think adding a couple more recurring big bads would be a good thing and I'm super down for an eldritch sea-god.

Here's how I understand it: As seen on Warped Landscape and in the trailer, Nahiri is clearly manipulating the leylines on Innistrad to summon the sea god the Stromkirk worship. This is an ironic form of revenge since she's under the impression Sorin is behind the appearance of vampires on Zendikar and their manipulating of leylines to free the titans. "You free world ending gods on my plane then I'll do the same to you!" This god, much like the titans, seems to have a corrupting presence that causes people to grow disfigurements such as extra eyes and fingers. The corruption starts off small a subtle (Magnifying Glass) and many people aren't fully aware of it (hence the skin crawling in Under the Silver Moon). If we think of Avacyn the plane's immune system it's pretty understandable why she's "gone crazy" and is killing innocent people. The outward signs are not completely visible, but Avacyn's nature senses something has nonetheless infected humanity and they must be put down. Seeing as Arlinn has drawn attention to the importance of werewolves in the upcoming conflict I'll assume that being infected with Lycanthropy prevents you from being infected by this god and it will probably be the thing that saves humanity in the end. My guess is SoI will be about stopping Avacyn and will conclude with this image and then EMN will be about the larger threat of Nahiri and this god.
It's possible gathering a lot of the plane's mana in one spot will inadvertently draw Emrakul but I think the similarities between her form of corruption and the sea god's is meant to be a red herring. I doubt she'll show up in this block.
They look like they've been through something arduous (Jace moreso than Tamiyo) but probably not a fight since neither of them are much for combat. Perhaps an incredibly difficult spell? I'd guess that where ever they are Tamiyo has been there a while.
She can fly and I expect that most people on Innistrad would just mistake her for an angel at a distance.
Good question but I suspect that she doesn't interfere enough for Avacyn to take notice.
Declaration in Stone says that Sorin knows Nahiri is both on Innistrad and pissed.
For some reason made me think of this, just replace Nosferatu with Tibalt making an "oops, you caught me!" awkward shrug.

RIP Magic Duels. Wizards will regret what they did to you.
Yeah. This is suspicious, Looks a lot like the red weed / blood vines from the 2005 War of the Worlds movie...
I think that there will be several dangers on Innistrad at once. Corrupted Avacyn, cultists in Nephalia, demons, devils, vengeful Nahiri, all at once.
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
