I've seen multiple times people stating that Ulamog is the only titan left on Zendikar. Emrakul and Kozilek have apparently departed. However, I haven't been able to find a source for this. It doesn't seem to be on the wiki. Can someone help me out here?
So then would it be fair to speculate that Battle of Zendikar will be against just Ulamog?
I wouldn't be surprised. Plus whatever remains of the Kozilek and Emrakul broods.
Seems like they're setting the other two up to potentially show up on other planes in the future. Would definitely make some of the "Return to X" blocks more interesting.
The splash image for BFZ only seems to show Ulamog spawn, so it's certainly possible that we'll only be seeing the one titan and the one brood lineage in this block, with the other two off ravaging the rest of the multiverse.
I see. Theros is my favorite plane alongside Zendikar and some of my favorite artworks in the game. I thought Kruphix's Insight was a good balance of both on your part. Loved that art. We know the Eldrazi are less likely to go to Theros as it is a very popular setting, and if they did arrive there I highly doubt the plane would be wiped out, like I doubt Zendikar will be.
That said, they can head right over to Phyrexia, Mirrodin or whatever the artifact plane was and those places. Did not like the metal artwork or those acid green swamps etc.
Well, in all fairness, we don't know if Segovia as a plane is tiny too. Just because everthing on the plane is tiny doesn't mean the plane itself is tiny as well.
The real big moment will be when an Eldrazi Titan gets infected with the oil.
Phyrexadrazi!!!
I'd put my money on the Eldrazi. They don't seem like things the oil would work on, since they play closer to the eldritch horror gnenre, while Phyrexia is more science horror. One thing that always happens when science tries to mingle with the eldritch is the latter proving itself beyond the former.

Technically that shouldn't happen, considering that the Eldrazi are supposed to be mere 3-dimensional shadows cast on a plane. You can't corrupt a 2-dimensional shadow cast on a surface by me either.
But then again, considering what Wizards is willing to do for the rule of cool, I wouldn't be surprised if this will get the retcon stick.
I would find it funny if they went to that plane where everything was tiny. I can't remember the name of it but I do remember it having a tiny leviathan. Just have all the inhabitants screaming out GODZILLA! And the poor eldrazi wondering if it's even worth it to just eat that tiny nibble of a world.
Segovia is kind of a joke. Segovian Leviathan is a very old card, and the art direction basically messed up with the miniature whales. To solve the riddle how a leviathan is a simple 3/3, they came up with the miniature world idea. Don't get your hopes up.
By the way, we have something that resembles Segovia here in the Netherlands, it's called Madurodam
I wouldn't put it past them to get the free titans to eat Kamigawa, and Ugultha, and all the other unloved planes we've seen.
And that would completely defeat the point.
Players: "Oh no, planes we didn't care about died... yay?"
But Kamigawa seems to be loved in a retrospect kinda way because of Commander, so it might get some reaction to being wiped out.
It's not to get the emotional feeling of those planes being destroyed, instead it serves a duel purpose. It shows that the Eldrazi are back to their old eating-entire-worlds ways, and also means that people can no longer ask for returns to those places (Because people do, still...)

Without emotional investment, a story fails.
I'm saying this just happens, maybe a one article post on Kamigawa, the most loved hated plane, and have it just stated that the other ones have fallen. This is not a suggestion for a block plan or something...

If you skip down to Gideon you get this sentence:
I believe a later story confirmed that Ulamog is still kicking around, not too sure about that though.
Yes, the one with Nissa Worldwaker.
"At least one of the three Eldrazi titans remains on Zendikar, threatening all life on the plane with annihilation."
