Seriously, Garruk's up there. He has no trouble taking out other 'walkers, especially as the Apex Predator.
well... it's sort of a situation where he's developed a minor magic resistance, it seems, but he isn't magically powerful. (or at least actively so)
Instead, it's the fact that he's 8 feet tall and has a massive axe. None of what he did to the other walkers was done with any magic, but raw brute force.
Put next to Chandra, he might end up a crispy critter before he can get in ax'ing range.
Now, I'm not refuting what you state, but being physically imposing can be stilted when your opponent is mystically gifted. Part of why he keeps getting his butt handed to him by Liliana. She can just stand back and spam death spells while he tries to get close enough.

Garruk is also a summoner and can use Green Magic to augment himself, a la Giant Growth. He lost to Liliana largely because the Chain Veil caught him offguard, and then never lost to another 'walker. It isn't so much "brute force" as it's "magical brute force". While Chandra can hurl a fireball or two at him, he can in turn summon a stampede or augment his power enough to brute force her into a mangled mess. As I like both Garruk and Chandra, I pray the two never meet in combat.
Also, Zurgo Helmsmasher showed that brute strength is nothing to scoff at. He defeated the much more magically-inclined Narset with just his physical strength and endurance.

You do have to keep in mind, as well, that his magic isn't working right with the curse biting into him. He hasn't actually cast ANYTHING (successfully) that we've seen since his affliction took root. When he was fighting the planeswalkers Jace set on his trail, or Liliana or Jace himself, he didn't use spells. He just used total brute force and tried to overwhelm his opponent.
Maybe it will be different now that he's achieved an equilibrium... but I'm not putting my money there. He seems to be a physical juggernaut now.

As far as I remember, his Planeswalker Bio on the site says that he's found "chilling, new death powers", which kinda sounds like he may have learned a thing or two about corrupting other people as well, not to the extent he is corrupted, but definitely weakening them in some form. He also did beat Vronos in a duel involving summoning his creatures vs his Etherium-fueled magic, and he has enough wit in him now that he's got the hedron in him to be able to trick someone like Frosty into his death.
He's clearly got a decent amount of magic resistance, since he was able to resist Jace's illusions (something Vraska couldn't do, in any case), and he seems to be smart enough to be a bit cunning. While someone like Chandra should be able to fling fire spells at him and keep him at bay, if they falter for an instant and he gets close, there's no escape. And since he obviously can summon his beasts still while cursed, given that at the very least he summoned a bear against Vronos, distracting them to get close and cut their head off seems still possible.
Of course, Garruk may only be the strongest walker that had his/her spark activated Post-Mending. Anyone born Pre-Mending, such as Sorin, Nicol Bolas, Karn, and obviously Liliana, seem to be able to handle him just fine, to the point where they don't even register him as a threat to their lives like Jace or Vronos may at this point (seeing as Sorin just off-handedly was like "You go find Garruk, I've got real problems" in the beginning of Duels 2015).
No mention of Kamigawa's power duo Kyodai and Michiko who guard their plane.
True. O-Kagachi was a big deal and they took him down, so I imagine they're tough contenders. Not up there alongise Eldrazi or Bolas, but probably in the league of the Theros gods, Marit Lage, etc.

They actively barred Leshrac from entering Kamigawa when he was tracking Bolas during their duel. Bolas as he is now probably couldn't force his way into the world with them on the gates.
I'd put the sisters substantially higher than the Theros gods simply for that fact.

I remember reading that they had done that and found it impressive. Which book was it in again? I'm surprised you think even Bolas couldn't make it past them by force either - any reason for that? I figured he's a powerful entity in his own right who has been there before (not that I disagree).
I'd say Marit Lage is stronger than the Sisters though. In fact my list would basically be:

It was in Future Sight.
As to the rest, the sisters only barred Leshrac because Bolas had rolled up on Kamigawa to mete out some revenge against Night's Reach and the Umezawa lineage and once he left the sisters basically went "oh heeeeell no, that's not happening again."
The fact they could tell Leshrac no means they really stood with oldwalker level powers, and while Bolas ultimately won that duel, Bolas isn't what he used to be either.

Valid logic. I think the sisters are as powerful as they are because in part they're not just beings exactly, but literally the planar boundary of Kamigawa as well (which O-Kagachi was) because once he manifested in the physical realm of Kamigawa, Night's Reach could travel the Multiverse. So they have an abstract quality to them too.
I wonder what Bolas did when he entered Kamigawa in search of Night's Reach? I know she claimed he destroyed her domains and turned her followers against her. So I'm guessing the Sisters saw him destroying shrines and stuff and decided PWs were a threat. He must have also found Night's Reach on Kamigawa when he took her original mask since she couldn't travel the planes at that point (I'm guessing). Not sure how she recruited Leshrac though, unless she made mana bonds with other planes when she did travel or something. I'll have to read the part where they basically go "No." to Leshrac lol. It'd be fascinating to see if they can bar Eldrazi from entering. Doubt it.

Yea, those are MTG Bars. What can I say, I am a dork
I wonder where the Mirari stands on this list. It's certainly a villain in its own right. An inanimate object, but the Eldrazi in ways aren't entirely sentient either. It's certainly a villain that corrupts villains.

No, they're completely sentient. It's just that their thought patterns are extremely alien.

Where does our old friend Blind Seer fit into a list like this? I've often wondered how Urza stacks up to the rest of the story's characters.
I'd rank him somewhere near Karn and Sorin (post mending of course), but not as high as Bolas or Ugin. I know Urza was supposed to be the badass walker in the old days but he always seemed more powerful as an artificer to me. I mean he would have lost to Gix if Xantcha and Ratepee weren't there.
Well to be fair by this point Urza was just an old man with a warstaff as Yawgmoth stripped him of his powers (How does one do that anyway?)So it makes sense that Gerrard beat him up.
