What's the best way to read Magic's old stories, front to back? I really enjoyed The Gathering Dark and The Eternal Ice, but for example The Shattered Alliance can't be found for less than $20 used. The same can be said for almost all of Magic's books concerning the Dominaria storyline, as Magic's Kindle/ebook catalog only starts with the Mirrodin Cycle.
Brother's War, Ice Age Trilogy, the rest of the Artifacts cycle, & then pretty much publication order with Rath & Storm before the Mercadian Trilogy & The Thran before the Invasion trilogy, although you could read the Artifacts cycle through before you hit Ice Age. You could also do The Thran before Brother's War, but it's kind of like watching the Star Wars prequels before the originals.
I hadn't realized the prices some of these books have risen to. Kinda cool, although it obviously sucks for people trying to get to know the old storyline.
The stories should be available.
I would love to read them all. Are there any story's in e-book format?
If not, perhaps the market for this is ripening.
