n the Khans book you get with Fatpack it says Sarkhan was in a battle when his spark activated and it burned a lot of people to ashes. Now Zurgo leads the clan Sarkhan used to, but I thought Sarkhan was the third oldest planeswalker after Sorin. Does that make Zurgo ancient? Also Is Sarkhans ability in mtg to become a 4/4 indicitive of his power lorewise? I mean is he as a 4/4 weaker than say, SurrakDragonclaw?
Well, Sarkhan simply isn't an ancient planeswalker as you believe. He is as old as he looks, i.e. in his 40s at the most.
The three oldest (known to still be alive, at least) are Nicol Bolas, Sorin, and Karn, in that order, with Liliana a distant fourth. Among former planeswalkers and/or those with unknown status, Ob Nixilis, Nahiri and Ugin are all older than Sarkhan too.
Sarkhan became a planeswalker a decade or two ago, at the most. He is a post-mending planeswalker.

It represents its ability to become a dragon, as shown in Form of the Dragon too.
Don't try measuring characters' power based only on their cards; game balance is more relevant than accurate relative power levels when designing the cards.

Well, we have a minor discrepancy there.
Brady stated, outright, that he was approximately 6000*, but the recent Lithomancer article stated that 6000 years ago was when they sealed the Eldrazi and that he was at least 1000 at that time.
I'm inclined to believe the article made a mistake since Brady was unambiguous and was the head of Creative at the time. In essence, I think someone flubbed the figure.
Orcs have shorter life span than humans right? At least according to my memory orcs generally have shorter life and lower intelligence in most fantasy products. So how long has zurgo lived? How much more he can live?

What is true elsewhere does not hold true here.
We don't know how old Orcs can be in Magic. It has never come up.
Orcs are most certainly not any less intelligent in Magic than other sapients.
In early magic, orcs are just as stupid as goblins.
Not really. They were shown to be cowardly, but they were smarter than goblins.
By the same merit too, goblins have had a lot of degradation in their general intelligence from early magic.
Honestly though, I'm inclined to think that Magic's goblins are as a whole, much more intelligent on average than is shown, but the stupidity aspect is highlighted because creative as a whole is so gosh danged determined that Magic be serious most of the time and "goblin stupidity" is on the short list of acceptable sources of humor in the game, and they milk that teet HARD.

Don't forget Krenko.
He is actually one of the best examples of what I think Red intelligence is. Cunning, but chaotic in a fashion that's a bit alien to us, yet makes sense.
Each race, depending on the planes they live on, are also different. Orcs are green on Dominaria while they appear gray on Tarkir. Orcs also appear to be wiser and more cunning than those on Dominaria, base on the stories Wizards revealed so far.
That said, I'd imagine on a war-torn plane like Tarkir, Human and Orcs have similar life span. And, because it's a war-torn world, people probably join the military at a very young age, especially Mardu. I wouldn't be surprised if Sarkhan was younger than 20 when his PW sparked. Zurgo is probably about the same age, likely in his prime also. (Although ironically, he's recently dethroned not because of any physical weakness)
I'd estimate their age to be in their 30s. And, consider orcs are physically stronger, Zurgo could be in his early 40s.

There is nothing specifying how old Zurgo is, but he's at least as old as Sarkhan, likely.

Is Liliana really that distant though?
Do we know roughly how old she is?
Karn himself is only about 1300, which makes him look like a wee child next to the likes of Sorin, much less Bolas.

*Fairly certain Doug gave us the same figure too.
