What if the planeswalker was a former pre-mending planeswalker like Sorin? Would that change it at all?
No, I really don't.
The way that the mending changed the spark was a multiversal sort of thing that spread through the entirety of everything. It didn't effect how the spark accessed some resource, it fundamentally changed the spark itself.
Going back in time wouldn't change the way the spark had been changed for the person doing the traveling.

Imagine it as if Jeska changed the whole biology of the multiverse during the mending so that instead of oxygen-based metabolism everybody would suddenly became nitrogen-based ("real" biological consequences aside).
Time travel would not revert you back to oxygen breather.

If a planeswalker time-traveled to the pre-mending era, would they get oldwalker powers while in that time?
No, for the reasons that others said.
Also, the forces of time would completely destroy them unless they were made of silver before they could really do anything in the past anyway. (This assumes of course that we're not getting some massive retcon of the rules of time travel in the mulitverse as part of Khans block.)

Regarding that silver thing: Is that still canon? Does it only apply to time travel on Dominaria? Could a person time travel inside a silver sphere, or do they have to be made of silver? And can Karn still time travel?

The silver requirement didn't apply in Time Spiral when it dealt with the Time Rifts. Flavor text like Stonebrow, Krosan Hero.

It did apply for Karn when he went back in time to close the Tolarian rift however.
The Time Rifts weren't the same situation as traveling in time. It was more like being dumped through time. No sense of travel to it.
Old Walkers could give a New Walker some kind of magical power boost swag. Jaya gave Jodah the amulet which allowed him to live as an immortal.
Nnnnno she didn't.
She gave him an amulet that allowed him not to have to purge his memories. He'd already been immortal for a couple thousand years at that point. He hid in a Fountain of Youth back during the Dark Age.

I thought that Jodah got that from the waters of the fountain of life.
Yes, Singe has it confused.
Jodah's agelessness (not immortality - he could be killed normally) come from the fountain. What he has in mind is that after Jodah smashed his mirror (that served for storing his memories so he remains sane) to make Jaya ascend and purge Mairsil/Lim-Dul from her, Jaya gave him an amulet with ability to do this without the mirror.

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
