Ajani has deep hatred for the Gods of Theros
Chandra has given up the leads on Ramaz
Gideon hasn't given up on Zendikar
Eldrazi have possibly broken free of Zendikar and are in the blind eternities
Koth is alive and in the Furnace Layer
Ral Zarek holds his grudge against Jace
Sarkhan Vol might just be hearing Ugin himself (could just be insanity)
Tezzeret no longer on New Phyrexia
EDIT: I posted a link to the article but it's not showing up
I think probably the most interesting point I took away from the article was that the Eldrazi have been feasting on Zendikar for two years, and the Eldrazi Titans have seemingly escaped back into the Blind Eternities.
Zendikar has been one of the top candidates for a "return to..." set in the future, and it's interesting to think about what that time span means for the plane. One would think that Zendikar would bearly be a dry, barren post-apocalyptic husk after so the Eldrazi feasting on it for so long. You could probably speculate that perhaps the Eldrazi Titans left because there is so little mana left to devour. It will be really interesting to see what's left of the plane when we get around to returning there.
Also very interesting that Sarkhan Vol may be actually hearing the voice of Ugin. Nicol Bolas previously stated that he had slain Ugin, but I think Bolas could have also have been bluffing purely out of ego (which wouldn't be too unrealistic knowing Nicol Bolas).

I think the "how" would be top of the list rather than the why.
I dread if they have because it means we're going to have a lot of "And then the Eldrazi showed up!" hanging over us for people that have "a theory."

Well, even then, Sarkhan THOUGHT it was Ugin. Either way it could be Sarkhan's delusion or Bolas lying, no way to know for sure at this juncture.
I also find it interesting that with Elesh Norn pretty much declared winner, Bolas told Tezzeret to get splitsville daddy-o.
I don't know much about Karn, but I was surprised that Venser "reignited" his spark and cured him from the Phyrexian Oil. How long has Karn been a Planeswalker and how did he get a spark in the first place?
A large amount of Walkers are concerned about the Eldrazi. It seem at least a bit more likely that the "Return to Zendikar" (or wherever the Eldrazi gand decide to go) might be in the near future (possibly fall 2015 set).
I really hope that Garruk gets cured as soon as possible. Being cursed for 3 blocks now (well, not storywise but for us players) is a long time. If the curse isn't cured somehow in M15, he is going to be cursed a looong time. I don't expect to see Garruk or Liliana in Tarkir. And in that case Garruk's curse is going to last at least 4 or 5 blocks...

Garruk's curse has already lasted 4 or 5 blocks. It happened before Zendikar.

Oh okay, I somehow thought that it happened sometime during Innistrad... That makes me even more worried about Garruk.
I need to read that Karn article again, thanks for the link!
So being a Living Guildpact didn't relief Jace from his duty as a chosen savior of the Multiverse? Why am i not surprised.
With Sarkhan on Tarkir and mention of Ugin whispers it looks like that it would be Ugin who will help the dragons on Tarkir to come to life again at the end of the block.
I also find it interesting that with Elesh Norn pretty much declared winner, Bolas told Tezzeret to get splitsville daddy-o.
Bolas is smart and probably doesn't want to deal with a "religious" zealot.
As for Elspeth, one could speculate she is making the mask to become a Returned in hopes of finding Daxos. Perhaps she thinks she can overcome the loss of self that comes with the process. Again, speculation is speculation.
Zendikar being sucked dry? Does that mean we will see a return to Prophecy-style mechanics?
I'm confused by the whole "Xenagos' body tumbled out of Nyx" part. Did I miss something in the novel? Because I don't remember that part, and I was pretty sure the whole "get Elspeth out before she dies because if she dies here she will dissolve into nothing" bit was specifically to make the point that Xenagos dying in Nyx precluded his ability to be in the Underworld.
And it does look like poor Tezzy's been put on a bus.
This article was definitely very informative. From it, I surmise that certain planeswalkers shall be more important than others in the near future; for example, it does not seem to me as if WotC has any specific plans for Tamiyo, Tibalt, or Domri at the present time; but, on the other hand, I imagine that Gideon, Kiora, Nissa, and Sorin shall remain prominent in the story, since all of them have the same goal: to stop the Eldrazi. Also, the mentions of Ugin and the Lithomancer have me hoping that more information shall be revealed about them at some point, as well.

It would seem you did. You weren't the only one apparently, but his body did indeed tumble out of Nyx.
Wizards talked (bragged, even) about how they're putting the story back in the cards when Deicide was spoiled. Then they make the card's story not worth anything, because "reasons". As if failing at Greek Tragedy with Elspeth wasn't enough - she overcame her flaw and died anyway, as opposed to dying because of her flaw.
On the other hand, Tamiyo, Tibalt and Domri didn't have a huge importance, storyline-wise, on their first appearance. Adding too much info on their whereabouts would spill the beans on what role they could play in upcoming plots.
Not that I'm saying they WILL be major characters in the next couple blocs (even if I wish it was the case), but we don't know yet if they're still "on a bus" or not (I didn't know that expression, kinda funny).
It seems like everyone's worried about the the Eldrazi and only Koth and Karn know/are worried about the Phyrexians. Now sure, the Phyrexians are currently unable to leave and infect the multiverse, but there are other planes with infection out there... Elspeth should at least know of one. I guess the Eldrazi are presently the most pressing problem.
And nobody seems to be worried about Bolas if they know about his presence/influence. Though I get a Vegeta vibe from him. :/

Also Xenagos is said not to be confirmed dead due to the nature of Theros.
Cōnservātum album delenda est.
I don't know whether other sources have repeated these, but here's stuff that was new to me the Daily MTG reader:
The Eldrazi have been eating Zendikar for TWO YEARS.
Oh snap. Missed that line.
Also, maaaayyybe Sarkhan isn't so crazy...
From the webcomic 'Enter the Eldrazi'
The Eldrazi Titans apears to be hiden or broke free off Zendikar.
Tibalt got the :" He seeks others planes for torture people" treatment...
Tezzeret got out of New Phyrexia.
Bolas seems to enjoy have pawns soo it might mean that we will see more "Agents of Bolas"
Sorin is going to Zendikar ( or look after Ugin and the Lithomancer.
Also Sarkhan want to break free of bolas control.
Lili is on Innistrad and it looks like the next 2 demons will be badasses;
Jace is going to try to help or stop Garruk.(Maybe the Clash pack from M15 has this theme)
We might see more of Domri Rade soon.
And Chandra is taking a rest :).
