Liliana of the Dark Realms
People says that Lili of the Dark Realms (LotDR) is a flavor fail to her character but :
+1: Search your library for a Swamp card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
It is shown that Liliana knows that Mana gathered from swamps and like makes her spells better. (In Agents of the Artfact)
-3: Target creature gets +X/+X or -X/-X until end of turn, where X is the number of Swamps you control.
Lili is using a spell to kill or to help a creature.(her spell being stronger with more swamps (and black mana available)) http://www.wizards.com/magic/multiverse/article.aspx?x=mtgcom/feature2/468a ( show lili killing a Garruk's beast)
-6: You get an emblem with "Swamps you control have ‘{T}: Add {B}{B}{B}{B} to your mana pool.'"
This one i think is the only that might be way out of flavor , but yet could be Lili teaching or helping you on casting spells from mana gathered from swamps.
The problem isn't that the card is mechanically inaccurate, the problem is that it does not properly reflect her suite of abilities.
If you saw this, you would at no point suspect that it belonged to a Necromancer. They've had problems with making Liliana's cards match that concept for a while, but now that they have a director in charge of walker abilities, they should be much tighter next time she gets a card.
So, the biggest issue is that it doesn't feel like Liliana, it feels like basically ANY black mage at all. It's generic.
The only Liliana that ever did anything even realting to necromancy is the original in her ultimate. Other than that she has been a lot about discarding cards. I'm surprised this iteration didn't follow the course of the other ones. A flavorful Liliana would be something like.
Liliana of Flavor.
[mana]Appropriate casting Cost[//mana]
+X Each player discards a card
-Y Return target creature from a graveyard to the battlefield under your control. It gains haste, exile it at the end of the turn.
-Z You get an emblem with "Whenever a creature is put in to a graveyard from anywhere, put it on to the battlefield under your control.

Whats the big deal about black lotus you ask? Well you see, there is no big deal about it. It IS the big deal.
Perhaps they're just leery about making a broken reanimator deck? It would need a steep cost, as with the first Liliana card. I'm not sure that WOTC wants to re-use old planeswalker abilities on newer cards.
Storyline isn't the place to discuss power levels or deck types, and it's certainly not the place for custom card creation. This thread hasn't crossed the line yet, but we're watching it.
Besides, we should be talking about how at no point in any story material does she demonstrate that particular suite of abilities.
