I have been looking for this everywhere. Is there a list of the neowalkers with their ages or in the case of Venser his death age? Are we just supposed to imagine up an age for them? Thanks for any response.
I remember such a list on these forums a while ago, but I can't seem to find the thread. Perhaps lost in the shuffle.
I did find this thread: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 Character Bios
You kind of have to go through it all to get the info. The information is certainly out there for most of them, though some of the numbers get a little non-specific. That's fine for the older PWs; Bolas, Sorin, Liliana; because when you start counting in the centuries (millennia for Bolas) a year here or there is not so important.
EDIT: I kept looking, and I found hat I was thinking of: Planeswalker Ages. Barinellos is the authority.
You can check the wiki which has a fair number of their ages, though most of them are written with dates.
It'll take some math, but you can compare it against the Timeline and get a pretty accurate idea of how old they are.

Awesome, thanks! I will have to figure out where the timeline ends currently, but that shouldn't be too hard to find. I started to look through that link. Chandra is 20 and Jace is 23? How? They look like adults! I mean 30 something year old adults.

As to the DotP data given, from what I've been able to ascertain, that was their age at their first appearance. Any of them that have been involved with a story have actually aged since then, most notably Jace since Agents of Artifice covers approximately 5 years of his life.

The life of a planeswalker is probably kinda tough.
Check the edit of my earlier post- I had several pages open I messed up the links. They are fixed now, and the second link I give is the one you want for the quick and easy answer.

That's some cool info in the first link but there's something about the heights that bother me:
Garruk being 8 ft+ tall is somewhat believable but it lists Ajani at 6'6 which bothers me. The Alara book said he wasat least two heads taller than a Bantian soldier which would mean that those soldiers are essentially dwarfs if Ajani is 6'6. Along with the Journey into Nyx art of Elspeth and Ajani together and the Uncharted Realms story saying he was tall for a leonin, I'm inclined to believe that someone switched Ajani's and Garruk's height.
Sorry for going off-topic but I felt the need to say something about it. :>
My gripe isn't that Garruk is huge. Rather, Ajani's height is understated.
I think part of it comes from the fact that Ajani's skeletal structure is set up differently so as a result a lot of the art we see of him isn't as accurate as it should likely be.
I know, for example, that the legs on Mentor of Heroes aren't... exactly as well done as they should be.
Lili's at least a century, we know that the famine that led to Edgar Markov's vampirism experiments was approx 6000 years before the Innistrad storyline, so Sorin is a little over that amount.

In other words, I want to see Garruk and Ajani bump chests so I can get some closure on this stats question. Or Garruk and Karn or Ajani and Karn. :>
Speaking of chests, what happened to Ajani's? He definitely had bigger pecs in Ajani Vengeant. His torso in general is a lot slimmer, he also lost the definition in his abs. definitely looks older, maybe he's losing some muscle.

Different artist man. No reason to attribute meaning when variance under style explains it.
Come on
We all know that Liliana of the Dark Realms is the worst of that cycle. Dont know how anybody could have approved that. Appearance and ability wise.
Also the thing I like about Ajani is that you can kinda feel his character progression through his cards.
If you compare that to Elspeth, Liliana, Jace and Chandra who are always mono-colored and while they have different abilities on their new cards still always feel the same. You dont get the impression that these character are now more experienced or learned to stuff etc.

Aside from Caller of Pride, because that suite of abilities really DOESN'T match him.
I mean, from Vengeant to Goldmane to Mentor, sure, that demonstrates progression, but Caller of Pride is just wrong in several ways.
First off, the use of cat tokens. Ajani specifically turned away from being the Kha of his tribe, so his sudden rally of them makes... little sense. The Sunstrikers and Chosen are more a cult of personality in absentia dedicated to Ajani's teaching in the same way that Keral Keep is dedicated to Jaya. Tokens are, by design, Elspeth's suite while counters are traditionally what Ajani has to give. So, out of all his abilities, his +1 is the only one that makes sense for him.
Second... it makes NO SENSE AT ALL for him to grant flying.
Lastly, there's the fact that his ultimate is the only thing dealing with life total, but it, itself doesn't have the right synergy with the rest of his suite. In every one of his cards, aside from Caller, you have some potential to gain life.
The flying granting doesn't seem overly more problematic than Elspeth's ability to grant flying.
Ajani's specialty is avatar magic, doesn't mean its his only thing.
For what it's worth, I read it more in a way that the target was gaining crazy jumping ability for a bit.
I'm not saying Caller was the Ajaniest card, I just like hearing where people are coming from.

Well, the thing is that Elspeth's ability is directly given as being an Angelic assist since she had a Bant thing going. I can't recall exactly who said it, but that was the source of the second ability.
