So the dude under promo Xenagos is Keranos after all... (Note the belt, the bolt and the beard.)
Is someone going to pick up that phone? Because I called it!
No, but I agree with a lot of what has been said, but there again, it doesn't bother me a lot. Many don't seem to like Keranos, and while I agree it isn't very unique, the art is solid and I like the description.
Iroas is all sorts of... bland and Athreos is a lot more gnarled than I prefer.

Indeed you did. Though to be fair, the statue is a little bit emaciated and there is just a superficial resemblance between the ornament on the statue and the minotaur skull that Keranos wears instead of his belt buckle/codpiece. But it is Keranos.

I like the gods.
Kruphix - nuff said. I am REALLY glad they took this direction in portraying the mystery, and I WANT THOSE CARDS IN FOIL. Including him, if possible, but I will be OK also with the non-god cards.
Iroas - just after reading Godsend I realized that the mirrored concept is intentional - Mogis has a head of a bull and body of a man, whereas Iroas has torso of a man and body of a bull. As for the art itself, it indeed looks strangely faded. I'd prefer the Acolyte's Reward to be his god art.
Athreos - Hell yeah. Was not expecting this, but I like it, even the fact that we do not see his face. Considering he's modeled after Charon, this depiction is fitting. And it is a good contrast to the Ravnican opulent take on the BW combination.
Pharika - and just when the JvV Putrid Leech claimed the title of brightest-pic-on-a-GB-creature-ever, Pharika is here to take it. Seriously, I love this one, and I would like to get her in foil eventually.
Keranos - a little bit too dark, but I can live with it.

Im was not following the story really with the books and all that but Polukranos, World Eater did come from Nyx and fell to Theros. If so why is he not an enchantment like everything else that comes from Nyx?
Probably because he was a natural living Hydra before Nylea made him a constellation to seal yet preserve him. He wasn't created by the god in or from Nyx, only contained there.

Well that would make sense then. Also Elspeth defeats Polukranos.
Is he supposed to be portrayed on Vanquish the Foul then since Wizards did drop the ball a bit on that one then since that hydra is red and Polukranos, World Eater is green. While that seems like a petty complaint, such stuff really bothers me a bit.
I don't think they dropped the ball. It can possibly two different hydras. And in all fairness, Polukranos looks more orange-reddish than green.
Of course if that is supposed to be a different hydra then ok. But if they wanted to portray Elspeth defeating Polukranos then the did something wrong there. That other hydra also has scales all over its body and that blue hue in their mouths.
Kruphix is green in the "obedience to the natural order" sense. He's the keeper of the natural order on Theros--he's the one with the power to bind the gods in Nyx ("sewing them into the tapestry of Nyx" is one my favorite images from Godsend); he is god of horizons (the boundaries of nature).
He's blue-green in that he takes the long view, seeing how all the parts of the world intersect and interact.
Also, Green is associated with enlightment, which fits well into his "god of mysteries" shtick (see also Pharika, who is associated with hidden knowledge, and Xenagos, who has ascended by using forbidden lore).
I always thought Green was the opposite of enlightenment. Green is about nature and tradition. Green doesn't like to go places it's never been to or do things it's never thought about. That's Blue and Black's thing. I think the hidden knowledge part of Pharika is her Black aspect.
But otherwise, all of the Blue-aligned Gods are about knowledge, but most especially Ephara.
There's a difference between material knowledge and enlightment. Enlightment is spiritual gnosis. Green has been the colour of ascetics and monks for a while (see Kamigawa for the most obvious example).
Green also deals with folk knowledge a lot. It's overall part of it's conflicts with Blue: Blue is all about experimentation and theory, while Green is all about learning knowledge by "feeling" or drawing from tradition.
Well green is more about wisdom and knowing things from a life lived.
Precisely、hence why a timeshifted card like Harmonize exists — in an alternate reality Green COULD have been the colour of card draw for precisely the reasons you mention。
Kruphix seems to be concerned with the "web of life," weaving the gods back into Nyx to instate the Silence we have heard about. He does this by carving names into his tree at the ends of the world. This physically ties him into green (the tree), but the idea of the web of life and, as many others have mentioned, the experiences of life generate knowledge, which further affixes Kruphix to green. For blue, he is referred to as the God of Time, and that combined with his knowledge base, solidifies his "blue" identity.
