We are done with the arguing now. When the new story comes out on Wednesday, I will create a new thread for discussing Uncharted Realms and then lock this thread. We'll make a clean break with a fresh new thread, and hopefully we can leave the fighting and emotional baggage in here.

Lolz! I think maybe you should wait til all five of these Origin articles comes out cuzz I have a gut feeling each one is gonna be greeted with Vorthos Infighting and butchering haha!
On a more serious note it's gonna be sad to see this thread go. So many memories, and revelations and happiness and angst stored up in here. It's like a Vorthos Time Capsule. Here's to new Beginnings and seismic endings!

Speaking as an average lore amateur, I'd like to conclude my participation here with the following statements
a) I fully agree with HattyDrago
b) I miss indeed the modding of Barinellos and his apparent companion HairlessToctar, as I indeed never felt any haughtiness from them. Rather, they were calmly teaching people, even if these people came with anger at fact X or adamant of fact Y, when X and/or Y were blatantly wrong. I even had the surprise of finding some PM with more info after a discussion once.
c) good luck and all the best with the new thread.
I wonder, with the new storytelling, when is the soonest we will hear of Battle of Zendikar stories? Will we hear them as the set comes out or between origins and BFZ?
Eh. Probably September or at the very least late August. The set comes out October 2. Even after the 5 origins stories I would figure we'd get some about their first new world.

Yeah I would hope that we would get more than just their origin stories, but the stories about their first time on a new world. It would be weird if the stories only focused on pre-planeswalk planes, since the set itself is divided equally amongst pre-planeswalk and post-planeswalk planes. Also, the origin stories in UR will be done once the set comes out, so there are many more weeks of story before we go to BFZ.
"So, there’s a small downside to working behind the scenes. You work on something for a while and then you assume that things you were familiar with made it to print only to learn later that, between the time you saw it and it got released, things changed.
When I was involved in Dragon’s Maze, one of the end results of the running of the maze was a realigning of the universe putting Ravnica at the center. Turns out, that didn’t happen. The creative team went down a different path with Jace ending up the Living Guildpact.
This is a lengthy way of me explaining that I said something that was wrong and I don’t want people quoting me when I was factually incorrect. Ravnica is not the center of the universe (just in my heart). Hopefully, I haven’t just doomed the plane of Ravnica to armageddon. : )

I apologize for the mistake."

I actually just saw this right before you posted coincidentally and I'm reminded of a post somewhere (in this thread I think?) about someone saying that Ravnica feels like the center of the multiverse because of how often it's being shown off lately. Weird.

They didn't care that he was the savior of Fort Keff, the great hunter of Ondu, the champion of Kabira. To them, he was just another piece of flesh, a thing with life to be drained away.

I know I said somewhere that I didn't think he meant it literally but from a storytelling perspective. It's interesting to know that they were actually thinking of literally shifting the multiverse around. I can just imagine the rage over that.
Eh I could see that, they have said before the guildpact signing oldwalkers used to gather on Ravnica to battle so aleast creative had that build on.

Your absolutely right. An even better example of this is Equilor which some (on the wiki at least) have speculated supports a theory that Dominaria might not have always been the center of the Multiverse. I dunno if we have the evidence to support this theory yet but I would not be surprised if the nexus rotated eventually to another plane, after all, Dominaria has always been the Multiverse's center. I remember Invasion, I enjoyed Dominaria, but even if it were no longer to be the multiverse's center we could still revisit and have adventures there.
EDIT: Planes are created and fade overtime, it's gonna happen eventually....

I'm not sure it's a better exambple if it's based on mere speculation.
But yes, raging over a fact that we know is not only possible but already happened in the past would be ridiculous.
