Comic telling the story - yes.
So major chanegs - no.
That would be simply yet next revision.
Too many of them recently.
Eh, it wouldn't affect canon -- it would just be an adaptation with no effect on the storyline as told in the novels. Like how they change things in movies from the books they're based on. Fans are smart enough to understand multiple continuities like that.
The onslaught novels had the disadvantage of having major power character that weren't mentioned in the cards and wheren't adds to forces like Stonebrow.

Not to mention a complete disconnect between the cards and the novels... no morphs, no slivers, no tribes...
Oh, that isn't so much an issue. The only issue is that the mechinics in Onslaught are so literal that when you ignore any one of them (besides cycling), it shows.
Suspend in Time Spiral and Multicolor ness in Invasion were dealt with similarly.

Regarding the Portal Ships. You would only need one to open in Rath with a path to Benalia and then make the others go through that portal and then open themselves.
I don't remember if there were any Dragon Engines in this particular scene, but it would be great to see a rendition of one. The card was disappointing... And I'm sure they must of evolved since then.

Who are all those people in the comic? I recognize Volrath, Crovax, Rofellos, Pianna, and Belbe, but who is that guy with Volrath, and who are the other three in the final page?
Volrath is not in the comic (he has gone to Mercadia in pursuit of Gerrard. The man you see is Greven il-Vec.
Also, the elf is Eladamri, not Rofellos. Rofellos aided Urza for a time, and was a childhood friend to Gerrard before he was killed on Urborg.
MORT: I think Belbe looks odd in the comic is that we see her from the front, and so her hair looks different than we see on the book's back cover. I think she loks generally the same, though.
The four characters before the last screen are the Oracle en-Vec (I believe), then Lin-Sivvi (or at least an en-Vec), an unnamed en-Dal, and an unnamed en-Kor. (-en being the prefix for those who faught against Volrath--Greven, as you note, is an il-Vec.)

That opening shot of Crovax on the surgery table is awesome. Belbe's entrance is awesome. Eladamri's scene is awesome. Ertai's back-and-forth with Greven is awesome. That oozing heap of flowstone and mangled footsoldiers? Awesome. This is probably the best of the four.

At least they got referenced in the cards.

If that's the case shouldn't the portal mechanism be on Rath, and just a shimmery portal on Dominaria?

The reason I though Belbe was bald is because of this card. It just seemed logical to me that it was Belbe within her armour, apparently not.
