Background: I'm running Cockatrice version f62261 on a MacBook Pro running OS X v 10.10.5 Yosemite.
I understand that Cockatrice offers two options for storing deck lists i.e., local versus server based. When I last updated with Oracle for SOI, for some reason I lost access to my local deck lists. I couldn't tell if this is because they were erased for some reason. Hoping to avoid this in the future, I tried to back up the locally stored deck lists.
This is where it gets weird: I can see into the Decks folder using the Load Deck feature of the Deck Editor, but I cannot manipulate (for example, copy or drag&drop) any of the actual .cod files listed there. When I try to open the same file in my finder via the pathway that I can see on the Load Deck window (looks like Users > MiddleAgedManMacBook > Library > Application Support > Cockatrice > Cockatrice > Decks, my finder cannot even identify for me any folders called Library or Cockatrice, nor any files with the .cod extension. So where the heck are these located? Did Cockatrice hide my Library folder somehow?
I hope my questions make sense. I don't want to just plan to store all my lists on the server because I like to be able to work with them off line plus I like to have my own backups (OCD).
Open Finder and go to Home. That puts you at the top of the OSX file structure within your profile and you should see your Library there. IIRC you can also get directly to your Library by holding Option and clicking Go (your Library is usually hidden in the Go menu).
Unfortunately there are always at least three Library folders in OSX and it doesn't give you an easy way to differentiate them. If Cockatrice isn't in the account level Library folder then its probably in the system level Library folder. I believe that can only happen if you installed it with Admin rights.

Thanks!
