Well? Any advice on how to proceed with my bug? Or am I just going to have to wait for Goblin Hero? Gee, thanks.
If the decks you're trying to use Worldwake for don't actually count the WWK cards (you would get a message or some such saying that they didn't find cards X, Y, or Z), you may simply want to retry patching (get your back-up MasterBase and re-run through the process). I know it worked for me back in the days of the Zendikar patch.
Also, due to my increased workload, I won't have time to fix this current patch. However, I expect slightlymagic.net to roll out the "complete" Worldwake patch in a week or so, so I bet someone will post it here, or something.

Sorry :embarrass:. I completely missed your post. My attention for MWS help is generally directed towards the MWS thread if you read some of my previous posts...
Okay, slight trouble: I added this new set with great success, but when I tried to put it in a deck, it just shows it as the back of a card. Just for the WWK cards, by the way. Any takers?
Are you getting the error that the cards were not found in the masterbase? A little window will come up saying the number of cards in the deck, and the name as well as the set I believe, and that they do not exist or something (I can't remember the exact error off-hand).
EDIT: That's the first time I ever got 'nathed Memnarch! haha
Hey,i downloaded the WWK pics and somehow i managed to see the cards now,I played few games in MWS,the others had abyssal etc and i could see em.But despite having the pics i can't manage to get the cards myself for deck creation and such, any tips?
You need to patch WWK into the masterbase following either Memnarch's directions, or my video. If you have followed these directions to no avail, remove the set from the masterbase, then try to re-add it. Remember, you must follow ALL STEPS. You cannot skip any. Forgetting to restart MWS after adding a set has always caused the cards not to appear when I start it again later.
When I try to add the new set, I get an error message saying "Current grid must be MASTER-like type". I have no idea what the message means, but how do I fix the problem that the message warns me about?

Change the view to "Library" mode, and try again. Make sure if you watch my video, you follow the steps to the letter.
can't patch.
i read the entire thread and not understand a thing lol.
when I updated my MWS for zendikar i just have to download the images and save them under the PIC directory. Then download a new masterbase and its up and running. this thread is too confusing, so many instructions.

You need to be more specific as to why you can't patch MWS as well. What is the error message it is giving when you try to add Worldwake? Are you sure you followed the steps without skipping any part of them?
To reiterate:
Download the patch in the first post.
Open MWS.
View > Library Mode
Click a card both in the top and bottom lists.
Tools > Analyze/Add/Remove Sets
Type Worldwake and WWK in their coresponding places, and check off "Get data from text spoiler".
Hit the folder icon under the "text spoiler" portion, and navigate to where you downloaded the text spoiler.
Next.
Next.
Should say "added x amount of cards". If there's an error message, exit the "A/A/RD" screen, File > Save, then start from step 4.
File > Save
Restart MWS
The original post probably doesn't look exactly like this, and I should note that if you follow the above directions to the letter it will work (or at least it always has for me).
For the patch Memnarch posted, when I try analyzing it, it adds 0 cards. When I choose to view it via spoiler and choose the wwk file, it says something like I need a grid type of MASTER-like.

I'm curious as to how analyzing it would add any cards anyways, and how you would analyze WWK if it hasn't been added to the masterbase yet...
Anyways, you can either re-start MWS and try again or hit File > Open Libraries > "C:/program files/magic workstation/Master.mwBase" and try again.
Nevermind, it worked this time. Thanks for the help.

Just thought I'd join to mention that the "grid type must be MASTER-like" bug in MWS usually refers to you having your deck selected rather than the master-base selected. Simply click on a card from the master-base (the big card list at the top) so that it gets focus, rather than the deck you're building (the smaller card list at the bottom), then try whatever you're doing once more.
For people having problems, check this. If you are exporting a deck from CCGDECKS, it incorrectly puts "WW" instead of "WWK" as each card's tag. To open them in MWS, open the deck with a word processing program and change all instances of WW to WWK.
so im still new with workstation and im trying to get al lthe set up to WW and all the stuff i found here just kinda makes no sense. is there a link that has ALL the cards so i can start testing?
I got all the pics and the master, didn't have to follow all these instruction or have to deal with all the other stuff like text files. Im' not even sure what all this even is with files for every color?
Am I missing something?

I'm assuming that you added the cards to an already existing deck.
Try creating a new deck file, and replicate the cards in the "invalid" one.

Relax, it'll come back.
