It sounds to me like the way Threshold used to be in previous versions. It used to come out like this:
"Threshold - (reminder text.) (effect)." when it of course should've been "Threshold - (effect). (reminder text.)"
So, yeah, how about a more specific example of your problem?

What they mean is that after the effect and befor the ( there should be a period. When you type in the period it ends up after the ). Thats what they mean.
Also who has the fonts since we can't get them from the old source.

You cant use punctuation in keyword params, not that WotC really does that anyways what I showed in response to another was cause of the 'n' bug that plagued earlier versions. You should already have MPlatin and Matrix installed on your computer or something similar, if you have similar fonts but not named MPlantin or Matrix then you need to modify the game file to match your font's name for correct display
No, if you look at actual cards with Threshold, they do use punctuation. Other keywords use punctuation as well (Forecast), and this is my biggest problem with how keywords are set up on MSE2, and it's something that I repeatedly fix in my own version. There needs to be a parameter that allows pretty much anything, punctuation included. If it doesn't automatically format mana, big deal. We've got brackets for that. I've talked about it before, but I think I'm pretty much just ignored on this topic.
And yeah, the guy was having 'n' bug problems as well.
I just started using the program, and have a couple questions:
1. When the parameter for a keyword is a number, I select it and type in a number, but what happens is that it changes my word from a keyword to a regular word. How do you type in the parameter?
2. How do you export as a text file?
3. When you print, does it print in sheets of 9 cards?
Negative Sir ! that doesn't work, Imyself have tried to import bmp files and I have asked the same question a few days ago? I would really appreciate if mse could really import set symbols made in a graphic soft.
the rest of Mse is top , truely....it's just that it's more rationnal for someone who does graphics to do graphics in a soft really built for that purpose, so if it easier to import stuff in the set symbol editor, it would make sense.
Okay, sorry. So it doesn't work, but for me it appears to work fine, given a few parameters are correct, I guess.
I'll investigate into this matter, but I'm fairly sure that you can use .bmp image files, as MSE 1 appears to export them.
Another issue that I hope people have noticed is the guild watermarks - the Dimir, Azorius, Rakdos, and Simic guild watermarks appear to be either faulty, or yet-to-be-existant.
As has been discussed several times already, the watermarks are being improved. The Dimir used to work, but is now a placeholder for the new script. And the Dissension marks weren't added yet since the watermarks will change soon.
Awesome! One problem I noticed is that all my lands that were set to "default" background reverted to the colourless (grey) land background for some reason. Clicking on "default" again, however, placed most of them in their correct borders, so it only appears to be a problem when updating from 0.2.6 to 0.2.7 and only occurs once. Now, I mentioned "most of them", didn't I? Well, it seems that :symg:/:symw: lands register as "multicolour" lands (see attachment), but this is only a minor problem as they can still be done manually by selecting "2-colour: Green/White".
I just finished version 0.2.7 of Magic Set Editor. This release brings some long requested new features:
* Buttons for making text bold/italic
* Good looking guild watermarks
* Yu-Gi-Oh templates (by artfreakwiu)
And of course bug fixes and template tweaks, including:
* Fixed crash when creating new set
* Settings of styles are finally saved correctly
* The latest VS System templates
There are some changes in the file format, don't worry you will be able to open sets normally, only explicit mana symbols (using []) may be lost.
Coolness! Thanks Twanvl.:) I have yet to download the patch, but when I do, I shall try to find more updates and whatnot.:)
I'm having the font problem with 0.2.7 on my non-English (Japanese actually) WinXP as well.
The program just ignores the font-setting in every text box and displays with the default font of the system ("MS UI Gothic" in my case).
Any idea why it doesn't work yet?
Its because twan was still using the old watermarks, in the newest version I believe the watermarks that are now used are the same ones I used to created the work around to the overlay twan has created now
EDIT: Shimakuma - try and see if the program it checking for the right font, if you dont have MPlantin/Matrix on your system (or named that way) I believe windows defaults to the closest in the font family. Could be wrong but I have very little problems with fonts, some people do, some dont

I do have those fonts and they work just fine with other programs. I also tried some other fonts by editing the style file, but nothing changed.
I have a slight problem making my set. When I make basic lands, it puts the basic lands set numbers so that they are in alphabetical order instead of color, like Wizo's. Can this be fixed? or do i have to hand do this.

I love the new Yugioh Templates but there are a few problems.
- you cant put "[]'s" in it. E.g. [Spellcaster]
-You can't write [SPELL CARD] or [TRAP CARD] in the place it's supposed to
-If for example you wrote Equal, it would come up with E&al. Tribute does the same thing.
Other than that, it's fantastic. If you expanded (once you fix the bugs with this one) to more card games (Pokemon, DBZ, Etc.) I'm sure your program would become well known.
Just installed 2.0.7, and now I can't get my master set to open...
If I choose the "Last Opened Set" (and it has my set name in there - Open "My Cards"), I get that lovely
"Magic Set Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
And then goes on to ask if I'd like to report this to Microsoft (as if). The same thing happens if I choose Open Set and choose "My Cards". And if I open the program with a new set, then open "My Cards", the same thing, of course.
I have two other files that I work with. Both of them open, but first MSE gives me:
Warning
Unexpected key: 'darker artifacts'
On line: 2
In file: styling data of Others Renders
But once I hit Okay, it opens the file.
Any thoughts? Does anyone know if I reinstall the last version if "My Cards" will be openable?
Cantripmancer, open your set (after the warning) and re-save it. also, double check the 'darker artifacts' option in the set options. If that doesn't work.. I dunno.
I have a problem related to my text. The Title and the Type lines are using a weird text that is too long and situated too low in the box. Example in attachment. Any idea how to fix it? I have the latest version.
I would like to say that I use MSE all the time and I love it.
Cantripmancer, I don't know why your set is not loading. v0.2.7 works perfectly for me. I suggest re-installing the program. If that doesn't work, the you may have to uninstall and then install again.

What do you mean import Zigmat?
Apparently the files that can be used for MSE2 set symbols are ".mse-symbol" (Symbol files), and ".bmp".
Yes, you can import set symbols, I guess, given that you already have compatible files.:)
Hope I helped,
