I have a problem with the full scan download (by id or by name or by number), for some cards with more than 1 illustration, the software download the same scan for the 2 versions of the card.
See for example the full scan for card with ID 2916 & 2917 wich are the "Dry spell" cards from the "Hommelands" set).
Can you look at this issue ?
This is a problem with Gatherer. Check their pages for card 2916 and card 2917 -- it has the same art listed.
There are many many other places on Gatherer where the artwork is wrong like this.
I doubt that Wizards is going to fix these issues any time soon -- in the meantime, you may want to try setting your image source to MagicCards.info instead which lists the proper artwork for those two cards.

There seems to be 1 transform card that's showing the same data for both sides. I attached a screenshot. All there other's i've checked look ok to me.
Also note that Westvale Abbey is listed incorrectly on Gatherer -- it has the demon side listed as the "A" face and the abbey side as the "B" face -- this is incorrect, and was messing up my app for a little while. This may or may not be part of the confusion that you're seeing.

I try your advice, but it is not working better (for the given example, i get the 2 same artwork from MagicCards.info and i retrieve the scan by ID).
So what is the right settings (maybe with a printscreen) to hae all the right artwork ?
Huh. You're right -- I just tried it, and it didn't work.
Even setting magiccards.info as my image source and unchecking "auto switch in case of unavailability" and redownloading all of the card data and images for Homelands still doesn't get the second artwork variant for this card.
I really don't understand why this ins't working.

I've been encountering a bug when it comes to downloading the data for the set Friday Night Magic. I've tried both using a saved database as well as a brand new one and it occurs on two different computers, both running Windows 10. Yes, please wait a while until EMN is available at magiccards.info.. This is because some double-sided cards needs additional data from magiccards (card #) to be properly extracted.
If a bug persists when EMN is available at magiccards.info, then I will update the software version to include a patch.
Back to summer break, and I see that magiccards.info has not been updated so far.
Consequently, I patched GEx to properly extract double-sided cards when numbers are not available on magiccards.info, in release v3.22a.
@chaudakh I don't want to sound like a pest, but also wanted to see if the issue that I reportered is also on your radar. This same error happens with many promo sets.
Thanks!

@nickman55: yes, for sure, but I cannot reproduce the bug. The extraction process goes smoothly on my side. May you tell me on which card the error is raised? Thanks in advance.
Hi. I am having a problem extracting data from Planeshift. It stops exactly at Tahngarth, Talruum Hero. Below is the error:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

@ blurcase: Thanks for the report. This error is raised because spurious promos have been added to the Planeshift set on the Gatherer. The issue has been fixed in 3.22b
The 12 other cards are conspiracies that are gathered in a dedicated set "Conspiracy: Take the Crown "Conspiracies""..
The only real missing cards in the set is the foil version of Kaya with an alternate art (number 222/221). I am checking how to add it, as it is also missing on the gatherer.
@nickman55: yes, for sure, but I cannot reproduce the bug. The extraction process goes smoothly on my side. May you tell me on which card the error is raised? Thanks in advance.
Hmmm... After months of this happening consistently, I can't seem to reproduce it either. Perhaps there was a problem with magiccards.info and/or Gatherer that was causing GE to be sad.
Thanks!

Feature request; can we make the scan names have ID + name + #? Right now it's a choice between those, but I'd find it really useful to have the images named with the name and the multiverseId. Same with the directories; it's either KLD or Kaladesh, but I'd like to have KLD-Kaladesh.
@ SteveCrook: Foreign data are extracted from magiccards.info (much more comprehensive database there), and Kaladesh is not available from them. Magiccards.info is usually updated few days after the official release of a new set (i.e. in the next days for Kaladesh).
I see the id-name-# feature in new release, thanks
Another request; right now downloading a full set's scans only downloads one of each basic land. Could you make it so that it downloads all the basic lands (perhaps labeled e.g. Island (273))?
Downloading every set, all data (No scans) yields me the following error:
System.ArgumentException: Argument 'Length' must be greater or equal to zero.

When I hit continue, it was on card "[PRE] Fathom Feeder". Can you please look into/advise?
Thanks for having reported the bug;
Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce it. Do you still experience that bug, Sometimes it is due to a temporary unavailability of the web sources during the extraction process. In your case, there is an error raised during the extraction of the type...
