Hello, I've read a couple of threads on how Deathtouch and Regenerate work but I'm still not completely sure that I got it right:
Let's say I'm attacking with a Turntimber Basilisk and the other player blocks it with a creature like Bonebreaker Giant. I also happen to have a Broken Fall on the table.
The giant will still die. Regenerating a creature doesn't immediately remove it from combat, Broken Fall's ability actually does nothing to the target creature as it resolves. What it does is create an invisible shield that waits around for the next time the creature would be destroyed this turn. As it would be destroyed, the shield is used up, and only then does it get tapped (if it was untapped), removed from combat, and has marked damaged removed. So in your example, you use Broken Fall in the declare blockers step before combat damage, and when combat damage happens later, the Basilisk trades damage with the Giant, which causes the Giant to be destroyed, and would cause the Basilisk to be destroyed, but the regeneration shield saves it instead.

In case I choose to regenerate my Turntimber Basilisk using Broken Fall, will the Bonebreaker Giant still die or not?
thank you for your help guys.
