Search for 2 basics to hand when YE hits the graveyard, shuffle
Draw a card
Scry 1
Can I scry before the card draw? Placing CS's triggered effect in between YE's activated ability.
And let's say due to having a Sensei's Divining Top out I already know the top cards aren't what I'm looking for, can I search for 2 basics to hand, shuffle, scry, then draw?
----Tried to find an article about this, I'm sure it exists. Pointing me that way will work for my answer as well.
Elder's sacrifice ability is always put on the stack first, as it is activating it and paying the sacrifice cost that triggers the two other abilities, the land search and the scry. These two abilities get put on the stack at the same time, in the order of your choice, above the draw ability, so they resolve before it. So you either scry, search, then draw, OR search, scry, then draw. The draw is always last.

I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.
Then both the Sifter's 'when something dies' trigger and the Elder's 'die' trigger go on the stack, and since they're both your triggers, you put them on in the order of your choice.
So you will get to scry 1 and tutor 2 basic lands in either order, and only after both of them resolve does the original 'draw' ability work.
In every case, the draw is the last event to happen here.
My, thought/guess is that since they all happen at the same time, they go on the stack at the same time, and I can choose the order.
The draw ability doesn't go on the stack at the same time as the triggered abilities, no. It is put on the stack first as you activate it, then the two triggered abilities that trigger from you paying the cost of the draw ability are put on the stack after, so, they resolve before.

And that would be wrong since they don't happen at the same time. The carddraw is an activated ability of the elder.
When you activate an ability you anounce it, put it onto the stack and then pay costs.
Then, after the ability is on th stack you put the triggered abilities that triggered during the activation on the stack (the scry and landfetch). Since these two abilities both are put on the stack during the same check of state based actions you get to choose the order to put them on.
The draw will always happen last, be on the bottom of the stack snce the other abilities won't trigger until you put the carddraw on the stack.
