Assuming that no one interferes with any graveyards in any way (short of the Badger going into one), does the Boneyard Wurm become a 5/5 creature in time to survive combat?
No.
All combat damage is dealt at the same time. Which means;
1) Boneyard wurm is dealt 4 damage
2) Badger is dealt 2 damage
3) Giant is dealt 4 damage
4) Goblin is dealt 1 damage
All of these happen at the same time.
Then SBA is checked at the same time too ;
1) The wurm has 4 damage mark on it= dies
2) Badger has 2 damage mark on it= dies
3) Giant has 4 damage mark on it = dies
4 Goblin has 1 damage mark on it = survives
