I am under the impression that Trickbind can be used to prevent the token Geist of Saint Traft creates from attacking from exiling at the end step. This seems like an awesome and powerful interaction. Can someone please explain in detail how and why this works. I'm not exactly sure what ability you counter with Trickbind, because if you counter the triggered ability that happens when Geist of Saint Traft attacks, the token wouldn't appear in the first place.

So in essence, the player would use Trickbind to counter the "Exile that token at the end of combat" ability which is a triggered ability? I thought triggered abilities use the words "when", "whenever" and "if"

Also, I guess because I'm having trouble understanding how triggered abilities work, could I use Sundial of the Infinite to end my turn to prevent before the token Geist of Saint Traft made from disappearing. Why or why not?

Yes. All triggered abilities goes on the stack (pretty much everything except land drops, morph and mana abilities goes there.) where it can be interacted with. If yo let the ability from Geist trigger at the end step and then end your turn you will permanently have the token.
