The title says it all.

Can I cast hidden strings, untap the lands used then use those untapped land to summon invisible stalker and cipher strings to it?

Or does hidden strings resolve before I summon the stalker, therefore unable to cipher?

You need the stalker to be on the battlefield first. Once hidden string starts resolving, you can't cast any spells until it completely finishes, and it's not completely finished until the cipher part happens.

Cipher happens at the end of the spells resolution. You can't cast the invisible stalker and then cipher. Actually since cipher happens as part of the resolution you can't even flash a creature in between the untap and the cipher.

Also, if a creature ciphered with hidden strings doublestrikes, does it untap 4 permanents?
Considering adding Ghostly touch if double strike works, untapping/tapping tons maybe. lol
Curiosity maybe?... How about miracle cards?

Sorry this is not the correct forum for decking advice.

If the ciphered creatures has doublestrike you will get two triggers (assuming it is unblocked), so you will get two copies of strings that can be used to untap 4 perms (or 2 of the same perm twice if you want) or anything combination of its choices.

Note ghostly touch will only trigger once since the creature only attacks once, just hits twice.
