Yes, Necropotence creates a replacement effect that changes the zone the card you discard would go to.
err, nevermind, I need to rtfc. The cards get discarded to the graveyard but the Necro has a trigger that sends them to exile so the cards do EVENTUALLY go to Exile zone but you can 'interact' with them until then (ie. Madness costs, Flashback instants).
Yes.
Necropotence's second ability says "whenever you discard a card, exile that card from your graveyard.". It doesn't matter why you discarded the card, just that you did discard it.

You'd be able to cast Madness cards even if it was a replacement effect. Madness sends them to exile instead of your graveyard when you discard them. Additionally, if you discard a Madness card while Necro is in play, you can choose to have it stay in your graveyard if you don't cast it. This is because the madness card puts itself into the graveyard from exile, you never actually discard it to the graveyard.
You can also still interact with those cards in the graveyard, and effects of cards like Emrakul, the Aeons torn will still shuffle your graveyard back to your library, if i'm not mistaken.

Whats the big deal about black lotus you ask? Well you see, there is no big deal about it. It IS the big deal.
Probably not, haha. Though Necropotence is a powerful card, made more powerful with more life to play around with in EDH, it could be a really great addition.
Though if you more wanna focus on the reanimation, maybe exiling all your cards would hurt just a little.

Yeah I already have it in my EDH deck. It came up recently and I was unsure about it. I have a ton of looting effects in that deck so it hurts it pretty bad. There are other ways to draw cards though. Thanks for the help!
