I attack with a 4/4 Soldier Token with Trample, opponent blocks with Coretapper, tap and use its ability and sacrifice itself, will my 4/4 Soldier Token deals 4 points of Trample damage to my opponent?
I attack with a 4/4 Soldier Token with double strike and Trample, opponent blocks with Coretapper, tap and use its ability and sacrifice itself, will my 4/4 Soldier Token deals 8 points of damage to my opponent?
1. Tapping or untapping an attacking or blocking creature does not remove it from combat or prevent any damage. So the Coretapper will still deal and receive damage like normal.
2. Yes, the 4/4 is still considered blocked, so it won't assign or deal any damage in combat.
3. Yes it will. Since all of the creature blocking it are no longer in combat, it will assign all of its damage to the defending player. So the 4/4 trampler will deal 4 damage the defending player.
4. Yep. This is the same as 3, except it deals 4 damage twice, for a total of 8 damage.
