A coworker asked me this today, but I was just unsure enough in my answer to bring it here.
Say I have Tromokratis and Asceticism. I attack with Tromokratis. Does he have Hexproof?
My inclination is that he does, since his ability doesn't say "loses Hexproof", but is instead written as a conditional way that he obtains it. Similar to, say, Thran Golem equipped with a Kitesail. He's not enchanted, but he still has Flying because something else is giving it to him.
Yes it does. Tromokratis' ability won't give it hexproof while it's attacking or blocking, but other abilities can give it hexproof. So yes, in this case, it will have hexproof even if it's attacking or blocking due to the Asceticism.

Scientists have calculated that the chance of anything so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten.
My own rules when building a Commander deck:
1) Underrated general that I can build around but the deck must work without him/her too.
2) Every card must be legal in both banlists.
3) No infinite combo that could win (and ruin) instantly a multiplayer game.
4) Synergy at all costs; stay on theme, avoid goodstuff.

Is this correct, or am I off the mark?

Enchanted Evening + Opalescence + Erebos, God of the Dead(with lest than 5 devotion)
Erebos is a 4/4 creature?
That's not really related, but your answer is there: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=588818

Not sure why enchanted evening is on the list. Erebos is always an enchantment. But yes, he'll be a 4/4.
When in doubt, call a judge.

I can't figure out how that's supposed to be a related question. Next time, please make a new thread to ask an unrelated question.
