I'm using this card for a spirit deck. On the gatherer site, and other card database sites the card text is different from what is actually on the card. The card says to put an Essence token into play. The websites say it is to be a 1/1 white spirit with flying. Are these creatures meant to be treated as spirits?
I know that the sites show that as the description but if you go on gatherer and read from the actual picture of the card, the wording is different. Which is the correct one to use?
108.1. Use the Oracle card reference when determining a card's wording. A card's Oracle text can be found using the Gatherer card database at http://gatherer.wizards.com.
The online wording trumps the physical card's wording, which is why cards like this still do something.

The picture is a representation of the physical card itself from when it was originally printed; however, the actual Oracle text that is used to determine a card's current functionality is to the right of the picture. Per the actual Oracle text, you get a Spirit token, not an Essence token; Essence isn't even a valid creature type anymore. (The picture is really just there to help recognize the card. Otherwise, the text per the picture is moot.)
Here's another question for this deck. I am running Myojin of Cleansing Fire and Iname, Life Aspect. When I wipe the field, and I exile the Iname, do I get to immediately return all creatures that just died? My understanding is that I could, on gatherer they say you could target the Iname itself so I assume anything that was just wiped is fair game.
Yes, when the trigger goes on the stack, everything is already in the graveyard. You could choose Iname as one of the targets for its ability, but it will be exiled during the ability's resolution before it can be returned to your hand, so you'll only get whatever other creatures you targeted while Iname remains in exile.

That is basically the answer I needed, thanks.
