No. Only the one getting swung by Hellrider receives the damage.
While the result of this is correct, the explanation is not. You don't attack a player in 2HG, you attack the entire team. When the Hellrider triggers resolve an opposing team member is choosen by the controller of the trigger to receive the damage from the hellrider.

Can you show me the rules quote for this?
I was under the impression that you attacked a single opponent, but the team simply shared a life total.
810.7a Each team's creatures attack the other team as a group. During the combat phase, the active team is the attacking team and each player on the active team is an attacking player. Likewise, the nonactive team is the defending team and each player on the nonactive team is a defending player.

Sure I can do that.
From the MTG comprehensive rulebook:
810.7. The Two-Headed Giant variant uses different combat rules than other multiplayer variants
810.7a. Each team’s creatures attack the other team as a group. During the combat phase, the active team is the attacking team and each player on the active team is an attacking player. Likewise, the nonactive team is the defending team and each player on the nonactive team is a defending player.
Do note however that when combat damage is assigned, each unblocked creature will have it's damage assigned to one player on that team (provided the creature was attacking the team and not a planeswalker).

Correction, they take damage. But yeah you target one player, and the team loses life.
