If I Cast wall of blood and it enters the battlefield triggering the Wild Pair, if I then pay life in response to the Wild Pair's Trigger, may I then search for a creature with the Combined P/T equal to Wall of Blood's Combined Power/Toughness? (For Example ... If I pay 4 life into the ability and activate it 4 times, may I then search for Avenger of Zendikar?)
Have a helicopter drop you off out front. Light your cigar with a small Indonesian boy holding a black lotus. Then bust out a craw wurm deck with no sleeves. Raw dog shuffle, loose terribly, flip the table, leave in a hovercraft.
I believe you can, the rulings in gatherer explicitly state that Giant Growth can affect which creatures you can get so I don't see why Wall's activated ability should be any different.

Serra Avatar's is a characteristic defining ability that functions in all zones, so, yes, it should be doable. Just remember that Wall of Blood starts with 2 toughness and that Wild Pair looks at total P/T, so lining that up just right could be a little math-work.
The ruling works because the ability doesn't remember what you were when you came into play, it just triggers on you coming into play and checks your power/toughness on the resolution of the ability.

Wild Pair goes on the stack, and it only checks p/t when it resolves.
Finding Serra Avatar requires you be at odd life when you do this however, if you're at even life you won't be able to line it up.
