Ok so Flash can be used anytime you can cast an instant. So my gameplan is to cast it "after" an opponent declares attackets so I can block with a deathtouch flash creature...BUT mtgo online will not allow it..So my question is why and if I cant play flash "after" my opponent declares attackers than what is it good for haha
MTGO won't allow it because you don't have your stops set correctly; you need to set a stop during your opponent's declare attackers step so that the game won't skip over your opportunity to do things in that step.

Procrastination is an art form, and I am an artist. Knowledge knows no bounds.
And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

EDIT: and yes, you can cast a creature with Flash when you get priority in the Declare Attackers step and be able to block with it.
